“Basic no frills apple orchard. Don’t go looking for apple cider, hay rides, apple fritters, etc. It’s difficult to find since Apple Maps takes you to a gated drive way. But we found the entrance by a sign we had passed on the way. Once at the orchard, it’s a short drive down a gravel road and a little hike to the orchards. At only $1 per pound we loaded up our buckets even towards the end of the season. The view is gorgeous!! We plan to return next year for cherries and peaches ?”

“I simply cannot put into words how much I love this store. They have it all - fresh produce, canned and dry goods, candy, coffee, antiques, candles, furniture - you name it. The staff is friendly and the store is very inviting. As a fan of old fashioned general stores, Hillmont Mercantile is in my top 3 for sure.”
