The location for this hotel is amazing. You have the hot springs to enjoy and a ski area as well within a short shuttle ride. The building is very impressive and you can feel the history as you're walking the hallways. There is a large number of activities for the whole family to enjoy. The check in staff was very nice. We got offered champagne and our son got a little care package that included a few snacks and a teddy bear. The rooms in our part of the hotel have definitely seen better days. The shower was weird and we didn't have hot water in the evening. It would be fine in the morning. We did ice skating and outdoor pool on the same day and there was only one person working both. He was clearly overwhelmed but did the best he could with renting out skates to people. That meant he was unable to replenish the towels in the pool locker rooms.Despite mediocre room, I would definitely return to enjoy the hot springs pools, ice skating and skiing.

Place is immaculate. Came for a business trip and was very impressed with the attention to detail. Wil definitely be back for some leisure time.Nearby activities: The gun club had a really nice trap and skeet course.

Pretty good spot. First time I have stayed at an Omni. Hotel has great history, but what comes with that is old equipment. The elevator situation here is a bit bizarre. None of the floors light up inside the elevator. When you request an elevator, the up and down buttons also does not light up. Then, during my stay I waited 10 minutes for an elevator before a bellman told me the elevators were inoperable. Also, if you go during ski season - don’t expect a hot shower at 5:00 PM. Apparently the boilers have a very limited hot water supply.I felt the service in the restaurants was very mediocre, but in 2024 - that’s to be expected. Hard to employee people who actually want to work.Overall, it was an ok experience. Beautiful hotel. Great history. Good activities. Wouldn’t say it was wonderful, wouldn’t say it was terrible.Nearby activities: Skiing, golf, snowshoeing, hiking, badminton, tennis.

My Husband and I were at the Omni Homestead for a quick romantic get away. I wish we had been able to stay longer. We were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived. Monica and Markell at the front desk greeted us with Champagne and a smile. Our suite was warm and inviting with a beautiful view of the spa and the pools. We immediately went to the indoor pool. The water was warm and felt amazing. Then off to the outdoor pools which also were warm. Hard to image swimming outside in 30 degree weather, but we were and it felt great. For a while, we had the pools all to ourselves. They provide wonderful soft robes and thoughtful amenities at every turn.We choose to go horse back riding and Amanda, our guide was knowledgeable and attentive. It was fun.We also did a private evening soak, under the stars , at the Warm Springs bath house. It was a romantic and magical experience. But thinking about the historical figures throughout time whom that have taken these waters, (as Lisa would say) and here I am being able to enjoy this same experience, it made me feel very grateful to the Omni Homestead for preserving this wonderful place. Then to think about all the everyday people who came for healing, I felt moved beyond words. We were also there for the Valentine’s Dinner at the Audubon Dining room. It is gorgeous! The food was prepared perfectly and our service was impeccable. I wish I had asked my waiter his name so I could recommend himRegardless what you do when you go, be sure and take time for the history tour with Anthony. It is free but I would pay for it. Anthony is that good. My husband and I had so much fun, we have decided to come back this spring. The Homestead is so relaxing, it makes you feel like you’ve gone back to a time of grace, and loveliness. It has always been a Grand Hotel and with all the renovations it is even Grander.Rooms: The beds are comfortable, the water is hot, the views are amazing and it decorated so beautifully.Nearby activities: Hikes, swimming, golf, croquet, horseback riding, a theater inside plus shopping and a spa! What more could anyone want.Safety: I never had a moment of concern about anything. I felt completely safe and cared for.Walkability: You are able to walk anywhere in the hotel and the grounds are so lovely and easy to traverse. Lots of beautiful trails.Food & drinks: Every dish was cooked to perfection! I’m sure I gained 10 pounds in three day time!Noteworthy details: The History of this Homestead and the Warm Springs are well documented with wonderful pictures and paintings everywhere .

We had dinner in the main dining room. High dining complete with flaming dessert and multiple waiters tending to out every desire. The food was marvelous and the pianist played music that was pleasant but not intrusive. A place to celebrate life's milestones.

Terrible experience for our group. One friend left at the hot springs with no shuttle back. Another friends spa appt canceled for no reason. We left a voice mail with the concierge and never received a call back to book an activity. Staff seems over worked and lacking additional help. The spa manager was in literal tears when we checked out. We were charged for parking even though we didn’t have a car. Too many balls dropped to be called a luxury resort charging $$$ resort fees. And don’t get me started on the moss floating in the spa hot spring pool. Do better Omni! We’ll never come back.

Beautiful hotel with great service! We recently stayed for a long weekend with my wife and three young boys. There is literally something for everyone. The boys went skiing one day, swam in the indoor pool everyday, watched a movie in the theatre room, participated in a craft time, enjoyed the happy hour cookies, and went to the Kid's Adventure Center one evening for dinner and activities. They loved everything. My wife and I enjoyed good meals every night, and the overall beauty of the hotel and grounds.Special shoutout to Chef Frederick Ottey and Chef Fred in the Grand Hall. Every morning these gentlemen were so friendly to my young boys. We had to squeeze one last breakfast in before checkout, because my boys wanted to say goodbye to Frederick and Fred. We will be back!

An expensive place; rooms had no hot water, lukewarm at best. The front desk said that's the best they can do in winter. Multiple activities available for a premium cost.

Unpleasant with all the construction occurring not mentioned while calling or their site. Fees and taxes almost double if you book directly with them. Don't recommend. They lie about comps and the kids pool area was literally freezing.

I wish I read these reviews first. The positive ones are generic. We experienced everything in the negative reviews. Calling the reservation number is hot or cold service. They are either super nice or impatient. All not knowledgeable specific to each property. I changed all my plans to go when they said the pool was open. Arrived to find out it was open when originally preferred. But the indoor pool was closed for repairs and that was not mentioned anywhere. The children's pool was so cool not 1 person was even near it. The whole hotel was crammed in heated pool. Gross. Construction debri and noise everywhere. 1 elevator was working for the whole hotel. 5 o clock was long waiting times because all the construction people leaving were using it as well. The elevator has no ventilation old and small. The construction workers are living in the nicer part renovations. (The ball room is gorgeous.) The pillows were old yellow and stinky; I had to buy my own from the only store around, dollar general. Pillows only had one layer on them. Cleaning did not arrive til 4 when you are trying to get ready for dinner. They lied about comping the room for the nights. That never happened and good luck having the manager call you back. Do not recommend for years when maybe it's done then. We went to the restaurant to grab table, they asked us if we had reservations, we did not but ok let's make one. They replied ok we can make reservations now or for 8:00. How does needing a specific reservation make sense, just west us. Luckily the steak and matcha dessert was excellent. The brunch buffet minimal selection available. Overall, way overpriced. The restaurant and closed off sections were the only notable delights. The Radisson in Orlando is nicer.

Me and my wife went sight seeing and bright her here to look. It's been a while since I came to the resort but it's beautiful as always. From the art work telling the history of the area to areas of the resort which are beautiful.

I have been coming to the Homestead for most of my life and this last time was just so lovely. I have to say that my favorite part was the new pianist, I wish I would've gotten his name. He is AMAZING. I am not one to sit and listen to that type of music but after I heard him I made sure we got a front row seat in the great hall to listen to him with our before-dinner drinks. (he played the nights of December 17 & 18).The Christmas decorations this year were just incredible and definitely the best I have seen there in quite a while. As with all places in the hospitality business staffing is sometimes an issue but my husband and I are pretty laidback and we thought everything was great even with a few small hiccups. The folks working there really work hard. The movie in the theater had a few technical difficulties so that was a little bit of a bummer but I love the new theater upgrades (including a bar!).I wish the outdoor pool were open later for adults.Overall we love this place! Yes it's old, it's historic and magical. The rooms are super clean!! Thank you Homestead!
