Hotels near Huddleston, VA

“The resort is in a beautiful setting with a great backdrop of the lake and surrounding mountains. Very nice beach area. There is a really great indoor facility with a legit lap pool. The resort allows dogs, which is great for my family.

Some issues:

The buildings smell moldy. Almost a stale french fry odor. Not sure how that gets resolved without gutting the buildings.

The hot tubs are kept on the cooler side, I have jokingly been referring to them as the luke warm tubs. The jets at the main tub are broken.

The slides should be at the main pool. They are a main attraction for the kids and would make the pool area more inviting and a family friendly environment. Having them at a separate pool is a huge inconvenience and just a big bummer because the pictures of the resort had them at the main pool.”

“Bernard's Landing is absolutely beautiful for a wedding.
The director did a wonderful job, helping with everything.The catering was delicious, and the cake was yummy. Couldn't ask for a better venue. I would recommend them highly.”
