We had an amazing time at Glen Gordon Manor for our baby moon. The property was lovely, the cottage was great, and the food was exceptional. We really enjoyed relaxing by the pool and watching the horses from our room. We would love to come back sometime soon and we will be telling our friends and family about this place. Thanks!

Our weekend at Glen Gordon Manor was absolutely incredible. The luxurious rooms, stunning scenery, and impeccable service created a truly relaxing retreat. The highlight was the four-course gourmet dinner—each dish was a work of art, bursting with flavor and crafted with care. The staff was attentive and friendly, making us feel pampered from start to finish. Highly recommend for anyone seeking elegance, comfort, and exceptional cuisine. We can't wait to return!

Glen Gordon Manor has everything you look for in a B&B: beautiful location, friendly and attentive staff, nice views from your room, and great breakfast. From the moment you enter the lobby through to the moment you bid a sorrowful farewell to this marvelous venue, you will be dazzled by the interior decor and style. You will be enchanted by the exterior views and the immaculate grounds. But above all, you will be in awe of the service, caring feeling gifted you by every member of the team, and find yourself wishing the dining adventure would go on and and on. Really, it's that amazing an experience!

While I did not overnight at the Manor I did have dinner with family at the Houndstooth Restaurant. The property is located on spectacular grounds affording picturesque views of Rappahannock countys rolling hills.
It's a historic property that was once a Wells Fargo depot stop as well as a hunting lodge for various Royals. The various themed rooms which I toured were luxurious. There are also guest cottages.
I can't rave enough about the dinner Chef Dayn Smith prepared the evening we were there. Five courses of perfection! Let's just say I've eaten at the other high end restaurant in Rappahannock county and I found the experience at Glen Gordon Manor unsurpassed.

The Manor is truly a very special place to go to. My husband and I have been back there 3 or 4 times, each year for our anniversary. We are never disappointed !
The prix fixe dinner is one of a kind. The owner and Chef Dayne, is one of the most creative, superb chefs.
Love the staff, especially our favorite Michelle, she is funny, attentive, talented in the kitchen and we always can't wait to see her.
If you want a very special get away, go to Glen Gordon Manor, it's never disappointing.

We stayed for 5 days and had such a wonderful, relaxing time. The rooms are beautiful, the atmosphere serene—you truly feel like you can escape and let go.
The highlight, without a doubt, is the food. Each morning starts with a fantastic breakfast, and in the evenings, their restaurant Houndstooth serves an incredible dinner. We ate at Houndstooth twice during our stay, and both meals were outstanding. The chef changes up the menu so we did not have the same meal. We got the wine pairing but the cocktails are fantastic as well.
Most of the other guests we met were return visitors—and it’s easy to see why. The experience, the value, and the level of care all make Glen Gordon Manor a place you’ll want to come back to. We certainly will.

Glen Gordon Manor is a gem in the hills of Virginia. The food is absolutely top quality. The location is beautiful with an elegant country vibe. The staff are all very friendly and professional. Glen Gordon Manor gets our highest recommendation. It is a place not to be missed.

We could not have enjoyed our time here more. From before check in, to check out- they made us feel like part of the family and right at home. The property is stunning, the staff amazing, and the food out of this world. If I could give more stars I would- one of the best weekend trips we have had. Spent time at local wineries, hiking waterfalls, and relaxing on the grounds/pool. The breakfast knocked our socks off everyday- and Houndstooth Dinner surpassed expectations as well. Its simply a must hit!!

When we arrived, the owner's two youngest sons went above and beyond hospitality, kindness and professionalism. Our stay was perfect and personalized. We felt like we were the only guests! In the morning, the amazing staff, especially Raw and Michelle, greeted us again with exceptional kindness and hospitality. The food was devine and the chickens were entertaining!! Thank you we will be back! Don't forget your bathing suit, the pool is beautiful!

We celebrated our 30th anniversary at Glen Gordon manner and what a great way to start our next 30 years together! We've traveled extensively but felt so at home at this beautifully appointed manor, it was hard to leave. A relaxing location close to Port Royal, Skyline Drive, the Appalachian Trail, and the Shenandoah River, and yet, with all that hiking and vistas and smalltown life, we enjoyed our time at Glen Gordon Manor the most. The rooms were well appointed and fun with antique furnishings and the beds were very comfortable. A highlight of the stay was the five course dinner which was magnificently prepared and presented and we've never eaten a better meal... anywhere…ever. Yes, in lieu of hundreds of superlatives I'll just say all my wife kept repeating throughout the evening was “WOW”. Breakfasts were also prepared with great care and were delicious with fresh baked breads on site as well as fresh eggs from the chickens that roamed the back yard and never ceased to entertain. All the meals were works of art. Hats off to the entire kitchen!! Having said all that, the best part of Glen Gordon Manor is the staff! They were all very friendly and always ready to assist. You would just think you need something and someone would appear. Otherwise, we felt like we were alone at the Manor much of the time which was so wonderful. The staff performed perfectly. They are a group that works very hard every day and loves their work and truly cares about the property and their guests. Thank you to Colin, Michele, Ra, Mathew, Jason and all the lovely servers who made this such a life memory for us. We look very much forward to a return trip!!!!
