It was a pleasant little stop. The historical items were mostly well kept and well documented. The one person on staff was quite friendly and explained alot of the history.

Wednesday night old-time bluegrass jam was enjoyable. Courthouse has interesting displays.

Beautiful old building. Incredible architecture. I visited on the weekend so the museum wasn’t open but I hope to see it next time I am in the area. The statue in front was really neat too.Edit:Just visited the inside of the courthouse today. Totally worth it. Lots of cool artifacts and history on the region. There are lots of pamphlets and visitor information too. Great place to check out!
