We have been customers of Kellums for years and bought thousands of oysters and seafood. I bought a crab platter and it had a crack in it under warranty. They said they would replace it and it’s been six months. I have called repeatedly and come by repeatedly and no one will return my calls or help me replace the platter. I don’t understand how their Customer Service is unresponsive

Best Oysters available on the east coast period. I promise there not only Fresh but the cleanest oysters I have ever eaten. No grit or sand in the oyster at all. Rich with oyster flavor. Fried, Steamed or just Raw they are Delicious. ❤️

Decided to make Cod fish sandwiches for dinner while visiting my mom. She suggested to go to Kellums in Kilmarnock. Walked in and asked for a pound and half of fresh Cod to which the gentleman asked what piece she wanted. He grabbed the tray of fish and took it to the back, I could see him putting the tray to his face, which led me to believe he smelled the fish.
We paid a little over $25 and left the establishment. We got home and began to prep the fish. We could immediately smell that the fish was bad/rotten. I tried to call back to inform the man that waited on us that the fish was bad but the business was closed. I will call them tomorrow but wanted to write this review as it was apparent that they knew the fish was bad, he smelled exactly what I smelled when I unwrapped that fish and he still decided to sell me bad seafood. I am highly disappointed in the business and will be asking for a refund.
Please do better, Kellums.

How I wished my gran was around to enjoy this local market as we did.
Walked in to buy delicious Kellum oysters and bought a birdhouse, VA peanuts, hat, plus produce. The crab pie looked really great!
This market has a little bit of everything & good quality.
Sarah was so helpful, kind & very patient as we kept strolling around the market like kids.
Don’t pass by Kellum’s Farm Market on Irvington Rd. You’ll love it.

We bought two jars of local oysters and they were fabulous. Super fresh and delicious. Wonderful seafood and friendly service. Highly recommend.

Lots of good fresh baked things that liked yummy! Bought some cherry butter, peaches, and fresh cookies. Cookies were wonderful. Can't wait to try the other stuff.
