No stars is what they deserve it’s been almost 2 years and the mail is not being delivered and packages just sit there until you pick them up yourself. This post office is a joke. We are always told there is no one to deliver mail or packages.

This post office has claimed that they attempted to deliver several packages in the last few days. I would like to know what the obstacle is. The roads have been clear and I know this because I have been traveling back and forth to Newport News daily. It is saying that my packages are available at the post office for pickup. I have rescheduled delivery on all of the packages for the following day.
The flag on our mailbox has been up all week until today. Some letters were delivered along with a bunch of junk mail. No packages :( . I think I will just start having my packages delivered to my work address until this post office is able to resolve whatever issues they are having.
I can understand having the occasional issue; but, this location is obviously overwhelmed and needs help. I pray that they get it.

If I could give this station zero stars, I would.
Who else can I use for daily mail/packages that other companies utilize other than usps.
I have put in several complaints through the usps entity but it doesn’t matter. The only excuse is that there aren’t enough carriers to deliver; at the end of the day, as a consumer with no other options to ship or receive regular mail- that’s not my problem.
Post master gets infuriated at you asking legitimate questions about receiving your mail and responds snarky. She even hung up on me. Funny cause last time I checked, as a post master your job description falls under making sure things get done at your station - which means mail going out if that means the post master must do it herself. Legit has told me if she believes a package won’t fit in a mail box, she won’t take it. What?! Ma’am, if you are dissatisfied in your position then step down.
If I could drive my car through this station without being arrested, I would.
I’m beyond infuriated because there’s one no else to complain to.
This is my mortgage payments, property tax and medications being delivered and you’re just playing games.

This post office apparently just doesn't deliver packages to our community anymore.
This isn't a one-off issue. I've had so many packages go undelivered without notification or explanation. They are shockingly rude when you call to inquire too.
They don't even try to deliver them, instead they just hold them and you have to go pick them up yourself. How is that ok?? I have to pray that medication or time-sensitive mail doesn't go through USPS these days.
Delivery is part of the service that has been paid for, so how can they just opt out?

Absolute joke of a post office. If they don't feel like delivering, they won't. If you go into the post office, they are not very helpful and seem agitated with any questions. Like, "Why hasn't my mail been delivered in 5 days?". Seems like a reasonable question...but not to them. I'm actually thinking about moving out of this county just so I don't have to deal with the location.

We have lived here going on 2 years now and we have had nothing but issues with mail, twice now we have had issues with mail being returned stating they tried to deliver and we're told we don't live here when we have never denied mail. It had now been over a month we are not receiving mail. I have called multiple times and the girl who answers the phone is absolutely rude and I get no assistance. We are getting emails from our I durance and employer that things are being returned to them as we don't live at the address when I call post office she tells me I have to bring the mail in in order for them to see what's going wrong ...how am I supposed to being mail in that I NEVER received? Absolutely horrible I have never had so many issues with mail until moving here

If I could give this post office no stars I would. There are people who work here that are glad to help but the majority do not. I am constantly not receiving my packages and mail when I am supposed to. The mail carriers either choose not to deliver your things or fail to attempt to do so and claim it to be some type of “interference” that the clerks make excuses for. I called this morning after several attempts to reach someone after a long period of busy dial tone only to be told to call back later with the tracking number to help resolve my issue. Excuse me? I had the tracking number available right then. She didn’t not even ask. Not to mention you HELP the customer when they call. NOT tell them to call back as if there’s more important things to do than to help the customer who patiently waited to call. As if others’ time isn’t important either. I’ve had the substitute mail carrier mark my packages as non deliverable due to interference. The only interference that exists is the fact nobody wants to do the job anymore. I’ll have a few things stating they are to be delivered however I may only get one thing delivered and the rest will be marked as non deliverable? How?? Also, I call and call no answer. Some days it’s only a busy dial tone. Meaning they probably leave the phone off the hook to avoid customers from connecting with them. I have reported these claims to the USPS above this local post office. About a two months ago my home and others went a whole week straight without mail delivery and nobody to contact and report it. After that sometimes three days here two days there with no delivery. They had to call other post offices and get help to deliver mail. I hope to be following back up with BBB or corporate soon on this matter. The people of Ivor are quite dissatisfied and disappointed with their service.

The USPS is lacking leadership at this location. They apparently do not have enough employees to deliver or pick up mai. We haven't had mail service in almost a week. We have several missing packages & our flag has been up for 4 days straight days and have been having ongoing issues since we moved to our new house 2 months ago. I contribute thousands of dollars a year to the USPS. It's extremely frustrating when you are paying the increased fees yet no one is working to deliver or pick up your mail. I guess I won't be able to send or receive packages at our personal residence. It's truly a sad time for America. This country has fallen in all aspects including our postal system.

Once again I have packages crammed into a single post office box and they are stuck and cannot be removed from the lobby. . One of the items is scratched. Thus is very poor judgment on the postal workers part as well as poor service to someone paying box rent.
