Staff is nice. Prices are good. Everything in there is clean and organized. Nothing to complain about. Good place if you need to get some cheap electronics or furniture.

I was picking up a few auction items. The lady I worked with was very easy to talk with. She was insightful and very polite. This family owned and operated business is a great place to shop. Stop by and say hello.

In the tiny town of Kenbridge, there's not a whole lot around... just a little Main Street with a few businesses and shops and a huge water tower standing tall above it all! Driving through, headed to Blackstone, a small thrift shop caught our eye. It was on the brink of closing, but the a lady waved us in and told us to take our time. We spotted some really nice pieces of furniture, this small brass coffee table tempted me mercilessly. Some of the furniture was worn and rickety, but other pieces were really nice, you have to just sort through it. The shelves were filled with trinkets, glassware, figurines, vases, garden ware and lots of seasonal items. There was an area in the back with lamps, appliances, kitchenware, linens and electronics - things were just rather piled up in a jumble, stacks of junk, too messy to rummage through. Another section was full of books, games, toys, old records, and vintage signs. My favorite area was the dishware and the teacups and teapots. That section was pretty neat, although quite dusty. My friend and I scoured the shelves and found some great finds! I picked up this precious teapot for $10 that was from the Metropolitan Museum, a fab deal!! The lady up front was nice enough, she showed me a few pieces of pretty jewelry in the case that I may go back for next time I'm in this quaint area. Most of the prices were right on target, others were steep. Some areas were neat and organized, others were disheveled. I think with some spit and polish, and tidying up, this thrift shop could be really cool, but I have the feeling the owner's heart just isn't into it.
