Seriously the rudest woman at the front desk!!! Avoid at all costs!! I literally ran in 2 minutes before they closed and already had everything just needed to add tape to my package (which I brought) and she was so nasty- proceeded to ask are you about done… I said yep sure am - do not want to send this to the wrong person in which I walked out at 4:31!!! I encouraged her to have a better day! Will never be back encourage others in the town not to come here. The Whitestone post office clerks are so friendly- maybe she should take a day off soon or find a job not customer facing!

This is one of the best post offices I’ve been to. I moved here in July 2024 and I’ve found all the employees are professional, helpful and friendly. I live in a small town and find the post office is big on making sure their customers are satisfied with the service they provide.

I have not gotten any of my packages for a month now. Whenever my packages come in, instead of calling me, the office holds it for 2 hours and just returns it to sender. This is utterly unprofessional and extremely poor customer service. Absolutely appalling.

Delivery drivers constantly misdeliver my packages to the incorrect address. One of my packages was dropped off at an unknown neighbors address and it was stolen. Now one of my packages is being held at the post office instead of being delivered to my address due to “customers request”. I never contacted the post office to hold any of my packages. Horrible service and attitude at this branch, They have no interest in serving the face to face customer , hence the extremely short hours, yet other branches have longer hours. Will not add a drop drum in the lobby because they said they haven't had one in 40 years, no need to have one now, which forces business owners to leave their stores to drop off mail during their 6.5 hour day. Will not deliver mail on Main St. because stores aren't allowed to have mail boxes even if a mail slot is added to the entance door. They said they don't walk anywhere. As of July 2023 they won't hold mail if the sender doesn't include the PO Box on the address even though they know the business and write the number on the package. They have no interest in helping themselves or the area.

This place is the rudest, laziest USPS in America. From the moment I got on the phone with this woman she was nothing but nasty until I asked her why. She had a line full of customers. Well guess what, I've been in her place plenty and I don't get nasty. I deal with it. These people have no reason to act like trash. Especially when they're in the nice AC all day, unlike their counterparts who are in hot cars delivering mail far past their hours. Be better

Sometimes you want to go, where everybody knows your name....(3 "Cheers" for this P.O.) That place in Kilmarnock is the welcoming neighborhood post office! The postmaster here greeted several customers by name and even asked about their families. That's what I love about these small town post offices, so hospitable! On the outside, this place rectangular brick building isn't much to look at; but what it lacks in outward personality, certainly is made up for in hometown congeniality. The inside was clean and well organized. There was a greeting card stand, a neighborhood bulletin board, P.O. Boxes, standard shipping supplies as well as color bubble envelopes, and a nice variety of stamps. They offer passport services here which is a plus - and the even smaller post offices in the area direct their customers here for passport appointments. The lobby is rather tight, which may be why they don't offer a self-serve kiosk.The hours are 10:30-4:00 M-F, 9-11 on Saturday. This post office doesn't just deliver mail, it delivers friendly service!

This is the finest post office I've been too! A large amount of this is due to Pauline. I had to ship off gifts on a deadline, Pauline's amazing customer service help me through the process. She's a great professional and I appreciate her business. Thank you for all your help!
