Machodoc Creek Marina is a full-service, family-oriented marina, boat yard, and cafe located on Machodoc Creek in King George, Virginia, just one mile off the Potomac River. It is a nice, quiet, and quaint place, tucked away and very quiet. The marina has 64 slips, with 8 covered, and offers non-ethanol fuel. There is a new boat ramp open 24/7, costing $20 to launch with the option to stay overnight; it is close to some of the Potomac's best fishing. The owner is a great guy, helpful, friendly, and truly cares about his customers, often interacting with them and offering advice. The staff is great, amazing, extremely caring, welcoming, sweet, and very hospitable and fun. They care that people enjoy their time on the water. The food at the cafe is fantastic, wonderful, and amazing. This place is a gem where people have always had a wonderful experience.
I had the hot apple cider. It has completely changed my view of apple cider. I am a huge fan of this place! The view is lovely. I could spend hours a day just looking out the window. And the service is top notch.
