I had always heard that the # 1 place to apply for a passport was King George Post Office. I researched and filled out and printed out all required application, had copies of my driver's license, my other required documents. I was able to make appointments for my wife, son and I. We walked in early and were greeted by Anthony. Anthony professionally sorted all of our paperwork, verified we had everything and explained the process. Then we took our pictures & sign the applications. In and out in 25 minutes for 3 people. Obviously not his first rodeo. In the meantime there was a steady flow of customers coming and going. The other counter staff carried the load while Anthony assisted us. Great Job King George Post Office.

My passport appointment in Falmouth was cancelled with an hour’s notice, and a friend of mine told me to try the King George post office. They were absolutely wonderful. Best experience I have ever had at any post office.

Always have a problem getting our mail in our box. Lately they have been holding our larger deliveries from Amazon. The worst is our 5 cats that have now gone 2 days without their food and 1 of them has to have special medicated food. But for some reason Amazon was told by USPS that we the customer asked for it to be held for pickup. That's a lie, and has happened 3 times now in barely 3 months. Also got a message that said my driveway was inaccessible so they did not leave me packages again. I live right off the street, it's maybe 50-60 feet from my front porch. Everything is accessible. There is no snow or ice on the road or driveway or porch. All clear. There is some snow in the front yard.. too scary? I just dont understand. It makes zero sense that UPS, FedEx, DHL and others have no problem making delivery's but our local USPS can't do the same?

Have never found the staff to be anything but helpful. Have dealt with this branch for everything from passport applications, business po box, and everyday personal mailings. They have been helpful and professional both in person and over the phone.

Don’t typically go out of my way to review, but jeesh, the king george post office is better off being a grass lot, with nice trees growing.
They’re open 3 hours a day, 6 days a week. (sometimes).
Rarely deliver mail, or packages, and when they do, you better hope it gets delivered to the right address! (Don’t even bother with an accurate delivery date or time either, those have to be made up at this point.)

After being aggravated because they delivered my package to somebody else that I had bought off eBay I filed the claim online. Next day King George USPS called me and said the driver remembered the package and would retrace their steps and find the package. Come to find out it was a scam The seller gets an address close to you but didn't have my name on it or my address but the tracking number said to King George for me. The item was clothing not electronics that I ordered. I'd like to thank King George USPS for finding it promptly and helping me take action against the eBay seller. Job well done!

Never had an issue here. The ladies behind the desk have always been friendly and helpful. I have called a few times in the past and had no issues there either.

I don't even use this Post Office on a regular basis, yet their service is ghastly. Filed 2 complaints today with USPS. Mailed Christmas cards from this office a week before Christmas, and I received a msg from one of the addressees, who lives a couple miles from the PO, they've received the card Feb 5. Secondly, I have a PO Box elsewhere, no street receptacle. In January, this Post Office left someone else's mail on top a wooden post at the front of my driveway. Completely unacceptable.

This post office is so terrible. The workers are never friendly and packages don't get shipped when they're supposed to. This last order I had was paid for on Nov 27th with a 2 day delivery. My client didn't receive one package until today, 12/20/23. This package was also missing an end cap on the tube it was shipped in-looks to have been removed know purpose. The other orders is still lost. And the orders I sent prior to these arrived completely torn and mutilated. I had to drive around the state of VA and personally deliver new products, which lost me more money. I do NOT recommend this post office or their services.
