Can’t rate the hotel since I didn’t stay there. Drove up just to play a round of golf. Course itself is absolutely beautiful. It was wet in spots the day I was there but was expected with the recent rain. Challenging course and kept in nice condition. Carts are subpar for most golf courses I go to, much less a “resort “ course. Selections in the “snack bar” were pretty much nonexistent. I would expect a course of this caliber to offer a little more food choices.
We had a tee time scheduled but ended up waiting an hour past our tee time to start. The resort had apparently let a group of 48 players fit in with the already scheduled tee times. Pace of play was absolutely horrendous. Two groups in front of at every tee box. Ended up being a little over 6 hour round of golf. Even though it’s a nice course probably won’t be making the drive back there for a while.

Olde Mill is in the beautiful mountains of Southwest Virginia. While you may not find much cell reception, you will see plenty of nature as this course is tucked far away from civilization. Olde Mill is one of those golf courses that after you play at it, you'll have a hard time deciding if it was a more beautiful or hard course. Almost 85% of the holes have water on them. There is not a flat lie to be had. This was the location of the 2nd Hazards Invitational. We will be back for another visit to this awesome course!

This place is wonderful. The golf course is a definite challenge. The fairways and greens were in beautiful condition. The most water challenging course I've ever played. We will for sure be adding this course to our Playlist.

If you're a golfer in NC, VA, TENN, then you need to check out this Hidden Gem designed by Ellis Maples. Located just off The Blue Ridge Parkway, a stunning layout awaits. Bo Goins runs a fantastic facility with onsite lodging for overnight guests, and great food at The Maples watering hole. We drive the scenic hour drive multiple times each year. It's a little slice of Heaven! Great Value too! $50 afternoon rate or $75 weekend mornings! You gotta go, you'll thank me later I promise!

Your golf course is exceptional! Your carts need some work mechanically and aesthetically. And the annual Juneteenth celebration that is held nearby is going to ruin your course. I picked up so much trash and repaired so many divots this weekend that it made your course seem to depreciate its worthiness. Then the thug rap being played so loud you could hear it well over 100 yards away truly made the weekend suck for golfers. I will be back to play again but I will certainly ask if there is any Juneteenth events going on that week I want to play. I want every person to enjoy the same game I love to play but someone needs to show them golf etiquette!!

We brought our golf amateur parents there and they were blown away by the view and the course. Special thanks to the two gentlemen who welcomed us and helped us getting started. Would certainly recommend this place to any golfers!

Beautiful course. Well maintained. A must play. The lady running the Pro Shop was Exceptional. Very nice and helpful and really added to the experience. Drove 2 hours to play and can't wait to play again.

Just played golf. The course was challenging and definitely beautiful except for all the trees that have been cut down since last time I was here. I guess for housing or hotels. Greens were fast and true. The only reason for a 4 is that it's wet. Really wet. 1st if you get any height on your tee ball and it's right down the middle of the fairway right of the bunker on the 1. GONE NO CHANCE TO FIND IT. AT LEAST 6 INCHES DEEP. The rest is really just soft. Definitely going back.
