I live less than 1 mile from this post office. I had a very important letter mailed to me on 05/19/25 from bristol priority mail expected 05/22/25. Thanks to the blatant lack of competence at Lebanon VA post office I'm just receiving it today 05/30/25. Very poorly ran place

Shew idk where to start so I guess I'll leave it short and sweet, if there was still carrier pigeons they would be more reliable and more professional! I hope Amazon bankrupts usps! Oh yeah I forgot usps hasn't profited in the last 15 years I see why. They've lost billions look it up lol

Rarely delivers on time, you're better off having Amazon deliver your packages or get a private carrier.

Had to chase postman around backroads because he was to lazy to drive up driveway to give me my package that had to be signed for said no one was there to sign when there was 3 of us home and I’d been looking out door waiting all damn morning. I told him I’d been waiting on that for over a year he smarted off about me not being able to wait two more days as it was Saturday and when I caught up to him he was stopped in road talking to a guy in a yard so I know he wasn’t in a hurry. Do better Josh.

The worst post office I have every been to or used. Called the post master several times asking where my important mail from taxes and social services asking me why the mail their sending is being returned. Doesn't matter who ya call or talk to it doesn't work. Is thier anyway to get my mail somewhere else.

This is the most unprofessional Post Office I think I've ever dealt with.
I was due to get a package delivered yesterday. They never came up to the door or knocked. My daughter was home. I called yesterday down to the Post Office and was assured my package would be delivered today. Checked in with my daughter as my husband and I are out of town and again no package was delivered. I was told since I am enrolled in the electronic signature program that I didn't have to sign for my package and they refuse to deliver it. The phone has been busy since 2pm and can't get through to speak to anyone.

The drivers here are a joke. They'll leave packages out in the rain or throw them next to a mailbox rather than drive down a driveway to put it on a porch. Odd, you don't see this in other postal areas. Then of course they'll fuss that the gravel isn't perfect in front of a mailbox yet you see them hopping curbs in jeeps in the middle of Lebanon. The postmaster here is ALWAYS a pain to deal with as well.

Packages are never delivered && then the postmaster likes to justify the package is always missing && it’s not their problem! I watched them place 3 letters into my mailbox but no package that day && this has been happening for a year! Don’t trust them with any packages!!!!!

Small place. Friendly people for the most part. One of their delivery drivers (not the regular one), who drives on weekends and fills in, we've seen actually tossing packages out the window into our yard; and other times, leaving them in the ditch by the road, not bagged in case of a rain. That's frustrating, but the regular driver is friendly and does a great job!

Sent some mail there and when my boyfriend got it today, the corner was tore open and what I sent to him was taken out of there!! I can't believe someone would do that.

I have a mailbox, and when I have a package that cannot be bent and shoved into my box, she will not bring it to my door. It would take another 10 seconds out of her day to do so. Instead forcing me to go to the office for pickup and deal with the rude service workers there. One time I caught her at my box and told her I could just take it then and since she knew she couldn't force it in my box she didn't even bring it with her. Terrible customer service all around.
