20/20 Horsemanship is a welcoming barn in Loudoun County that offers riding and horsemanship lessons for children aged 6 and up, as well as adults. The business is run by a certified instructor who provides safe, fun, and personalized instruction for students of all experience levels, from beginners to those who can canter and jump. The focus is on teaching good horsemanship principles, including reading horse body language, using body language to influence horses, and understanding herd behavior, prey, and predators. The lessons follow a plan similar to the US Pony Club, with a new program launching soon. The barn emphasizes the importance of forming a partnership with horses and paying close attention to what horses communicate. Students often describe the environment as family-like, with everyone working together and enjoying their time. The instructor is highly praised for her teaching skills, patience, and care for her horses, which are well cared for and happy. Many students, both children and adults, appreciate the personalized instruction and the opportunity to learn about horsemanship beyond riding. Overall, 20/20 Horsemanship is regarded as a safe, caring, and enriching place to learn about horses and riding.
