My dog is almost 15 years old and has used Banfield since she was 8 weeks old. They have taken wonderful care of her. I believe they have helped extend her life and for that I'm very appreciative.

Very good customer service. Nice and hospitable staff. I will recommend this place to anyone with a pet. Their follow ups after any visit are next to none.

Banfield is the best! We have been patients here for 5 years, and we don't go anywhere else. Everyone is super nice and very caring when it comes to all of our pets!

The front desk is very nice and they have decent appointment availability. Unfortunately they do not let you go into the exam room like every other veterinarian office. The DR was also very rude when I said I want as little tests done on my senior dog my goal is to keep her pain free for her last years . The doctor responded with I hope when you are older no one treats you that way. I said I hope they do because when I'm old I don't want a bunch of unnecessary medical things done to me. I took my dog to another vet that completely agreed with me and is changing her medicine to one that isn't going to harm her because apparently the medicine they gave my dog is last resort and can be very harmful. This office is fine for your yearly visit but they will go for the bigger bill over the better treatment in my experience.

We purchased the wellness plan and paid extra for the flea and heartworm medication add on. They're good with the wellness plan, but you're better off ordering the flea medications somewhere else where there's better tracking and you actually get what you paid for. They give you 6 months dose when you go in for an appointment, we didn't decide to sign up for the flea medication until the second appointment a month in, plus we didn't give the medication to our dog during winter when we didn't go out a lot, so I didn't remember to ask for more during the second wellness check 6 months in as we still had more at home. When I went in to get more flea medication as we finally ran out, they claim that they gave it to us during the second wellness appointment when they didn't, and they are certain that they gave it to us because they didn't put in a note to say that they forgot. How are you going to remember that you forgot??? And they don't have you sign any acknowledgement that you received the medication, but you are being billed every month for it. So we've paid for 11 months worth of the medication but only got 6 doses, and that's over $100 going to waste.

For a chain vet wellness clinic, these folks are great!

My appointment was easily scheduled and the receptionist was helpful. We were seen on time. The vet was professional and respectful. The office environment was pleasant. My dog is doing great on his meds.

This place is a joke!! They will take you for all the money you have and cause you to come for multiple appointments to pay more money. The vet's are less than experienced and not the top quality you would want for your loved ones. The year plan may seem good, but they get you on so many other costs. I had been there several times with my cat and paid thousands of dollars and adopted a new pet and took him for a comprehensive evaluation for which they failed to check his nails and teeth and I later noticed serious issues with them both. I scheduled another appointment, and they never advised me I needed to bring his adoption records with me. I arrived with my cat stressed and waited for a long period of time for them to come out and ask questions then go in the back and again only to come out again and say he could not be seen without his medical records. I said I could email them the minute I got home from our appointment and assured them he had been vaccinated. Considering they had no reason to not trust me with the multiple visits with my other cat and large amounts of $$ I have paid. Not to mention they never asked for the records on the first visit nor did they advise me at the time of appointment to bring the records. You would think due to my established business with them they could trust in me to email them after the appointment but they refused and this was very stressful for my cat and I. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, THE WORST IN FACT. The girl with huge nose rings and very short hair (Ashly) told me I could go ahead and find another vet when I told her I would not tolerate the back and forth with my cat being so stressed. VERY INCREDIBLY RUDE! If you love you pets - DO NOT TAKE THEM TO LEESBURG VILLAGE BANFIELD or any Banfield for that matter, they are horrible!!!

The value for the "Wellness Plans" offered just wasn't there. The plan purports to cover anything else needed for the pet however we were nickel and dimed for anything beyond the very basic annual screen. Getting out of the contract was difficult as the corporate office tries to upsell you. I think there are more cost effective options locally.

I have a large 95 pound GSD that is extremely reactive. After trying a couple of vets, I ended up at Banfield with Dr. Esh. She is amazing! This office really goes out of their way to accommodate me. I moved out of state and will still be traveling back to take my dog here because of how great they are with my boy. I have been super happy with my experiences here. Thank you!

The staff was friendly and very helpful. It was a recommended location to pick up prescription dog food.

I took my pet here for a routine ear check/ear hair plucking procedure and they injured my dog's neck and shoulder. They refuse to acknowledge that they did not handle him right. I had to take him to pender emergency vet and they diagnosed him with a soft tissue injury. I paid $150 dollars for this Banfield to injure him and another $300 for emergency vet fee. I will never set foot in another Banfield as long as my dog is alive. Do yourself and your pet a favor never take your pet to any Banfield location ever.
