I had a terrible experience this morning with the woman who tried to act like she was helping me. She reminded me customer service doesn’t open until 9am because I was trying to do an exchange, so I said no worries I can come back. She then proceeded to question me when I was in the self checkout, asking if I put the item back and lecturing me like a child as I’m trying to make a purchase and get to work. I was so upset I just left the item I wanted to exchange on the customer service counter, she can have it since she’s more concerned about that instead of providing actual customer service. She was rude, unprofessional, and I agree with others I will not be shopping at this location again.

Worst shopping experience in the world!
Rude people working there. Unfriendly , sad faces and speaking costs money to them.
Forget about customer service . Depressed people working here just to make a living .
I see this store closing soon and Harris teeter organizational human resource structure needs a million changes in hiring policies .
Never visiting any Harris teeter ever in future .
Don’t spend your hard owned money on such arrogant shopping places ever.

The manager, Tyrone took a last minute florist order for me and the bouquet exceeded my expectations. Wonderful customer service from him and the florist.

This store is a short walk from where I live. It has all of my needs and it has a Senior discount day with 5% off. I love what they do there. Well laid out and clean.

Just left this HT around 10pm on 3/1. After utilizing the self checkouts, this young pale white woman who appeared to be the self checkout host was leaning on a grocery cart that had baskets in it. Since I had a basket, I went to her to return it since she had 4 or 5 collected already. Instead of saying thank you or even looking me in the eyes to acknowledge my existence, she snatches the basket out of my hand, clearly irritated that I dare hand her this basket, and slams into the other basket. I say to her that she’s “so kind” and the young man standing there with her tells me to have a good night realizing she was rude to me for no reason. I wish I had a survey to fill out. Kudos to the young man for trying to make up for her poor attitude.

I just wanted to give a shout out to Paulina. She has been working there for quite some time and is always helpful. She normally works the pizza station or behind the deli slicing area. Today when I went on New Years Day, someone from the deli was on break so she came from her pizza station and helped me get the lunch meat I needed. I always appreciate her help, her smile and dedication to work. She also makes the best pizza and is great at following directions (we always get pizza extra well done with 16 slices).

This is one of the grocery stores of all time. My favorite part is when the guy comes on the speaker and says "it's the little things that count, my Harris teeter".I love this store, and wanted to work here when I was a child

Found everything I wanted at good prices. Produce was fresh, the store was clean with lots of parking, and staff was very kind and helpful. Highly recommend.

I live in the neighborhood and Harris Teeter is the place I shop a lot, I never had any issues until today. The girl who helped me to check out was very unprofessional and rude. First, she ignored my greeting at all, she chatted with the customer in front of me and behind me; second, she didn’t ask me if I wanted any plastic bags, just put everything in the plastic bags and charged me; third, after checking out, she pushed my cart away instead of handing it to me. The girl’s name started with R, she definitely needs more training before starting to work!
