About Mobile Hope
Mobile Hope provides support and emergency shelter to youth up to age 24 who are at-risk, precariously housed or homeless. It is described as a wonderful place run by professional, caring people that takes care of vulnerable teens and young adults. The organization empowers them to become self-sufficient. For some, it becomes a supportive family, offering help with housing, counseling, and school, enabling clients to graduate and transition to adulthood. People express being happy with its positive performance and greatful for its sacrifices. However, a concern is raised regarding a lack of screening for those receiving assistance through programs like Listen for the Honk. Without screening, people can be hurt, as some who take food and goods may spend their own money on parties, beer, and drugs, which is not good for neighborhood health. Despite this concern for some communities, many see it as a great nonprofit to donate to and volunteer with.

They are amazing! There are so few services available to help young adults at risk between 16-24, and Mobile Hope fills that gap. I have watched them, first-hand, provide a car for a young man who was trying, but struggling. And that's just one example.
