Very good customer service. Great financing options with low interest rates. Simple banking solutions that are not flooded with fees. Good response times for calls. All questions are answered in a timely manner, often through delegation.

Reading the 6 previous reviews, I'd have to say they're pretty unfair. I've never found the employees to be anything but friendly and accommodating, especially when some issue came up to cause me inconvenience - often not their fault. Their hours and availability have been ridiculously impacted (negatively) by the pandemic, and when there's a need to meet or speak to them, they are extremely focused on being helpful. Given that they've not been open to the general public for very long, and that banking in general is one of those industries disrupted by the Internet, NWFCU is one of the better options for banking. They've got some of the best rates and programs to fit most customer interests.

I have been a member of this credit union location for years . I'm thinking seriously to take my business elsewhere. I find the employees professional but unwelcoming . Not a single employee seems to great customers with a hello . Usually you wait in line and the employees say , NEXT . Disappointing customer .

I have been a member of NWFCU for over five years and have primarily banked at this location. I have never had a single poor experience. Lines move quickly and staff are eager to great you. I noticed a lot of negative feedback on this particular location and don't believe it is entirely warranted. I do wish this location had a direct contact number instead of the NWFCU group number. Happy member who will continue to bank with NWFCU. Thanks for all you do NWFCU.

I have been a customer with Northwest Federal Credit Union for nearly 10 years. I had questions about fees and a cashier's check and they were not very forthcoming or knowledgeable about the information. I ended up being charged fees that I had asked about to avoid, and then called member services who had the information and gave it to me after the fact. This is not the first incident where the customer service was lacking. Even though I have been a member for many years, I am likely taking my business elsewhere.

I went here to get an auto loan while I was out on maternity leave and was denied because it is unpaid maternity leave... I've been trying to find a lawyer to help with this issue but have had little luck so I figured I may as well get the word out that this is the worst bank I've ever had. Every time I've had an issue come up they have been unhelpful and taken multiple hours and end up saying the same thing we can't help or you are denied. We are a young family and we just had our first baby I don't see why this bank is so unwilling to help new families start out, I've never missed a payment and I know I always pay my bills very dissatisfied with this bank specially since this bank has a record of all my transactions and payments in the last 3 years, only reason I switched was on the word of my husband and he spoke very highly of northwest since he has had them all his life now he is willing to even switch banks because of what happened and what he witnessed with me

Two poor experiences. I am a member of 'the network' but not this particular credit union. Until yesterday, I enjoyed the ability to deposit money here. They changed that recently; told me I couldn't do this inside the branch, go outside to the ATM. It was more money than I was really comfortable trusting to an ATM, but it didn't matter anyway since when I went outside the ATM was Out of Order. Thanks buddy! The previous poor experience involved a brick of rolled coins that they would not accept for deposit (back when they still took indoor deposits for network CUs). It was about $200 in coins, all rolled, nothing special required on their end, but they couldn't take them. I had to deposit them with WF. Wife and I are looking at selecting a CU for our life here in VA, and this is one that we will not be considering.

Long lines for simple customer service. Northwest FCU stopped servicing other CU members at their branches, but they do allow their members to go to other CU's. In my opinion, this is a double standard from a shared branch perspective. Do not support or go to this CU!
