  The staff at the Plaza/East Market Street Shell are excellent. Mario is responsive, communicative, knowledgeable and friendly. Andre is warm, welcoming and professional. We consistently have positive experiences, and repeatedly bring our vehicles to this location in particular. We know our cars are in good and capable hands. We are grateful for the care they take both with the vehicles and with us.

  I arrived at this gas station on Sunday, September 28 at about 8:52 pm to fill up. After I finished pumping gas and before I could get back into my car, the attendant turned off all the station lights.
  
  According to Google, this location is supposed to be 24 hours. Even if that’s incorrect and the station closes at 9:00 pm, it is extremely unsafe and inconsiderate to shut off all the lights while a customer (and in this case, a woman alone at night) is still outside. The attendant saw me and still chose not to wait.
  
  This was very unsettling, unsafe, and unprofessional. I normally stop here during the day and have never had an issue, but this experience makes me reconsider returning. I hope Shell or the business owner addresses this behavior so no one else is put in this type of unsafe situation.

  Emissions and state inspection hopefulls get in line early! The lines fill up fast. The left lane is for Emissions and the right lane is for State inspections. They are very quick and efficient here! My wife and I ALWAYS come here for either inspections or Emissions. Very friendly and helpful staff here. The bathroom was very clean.

  I recently visited Plaza Shell in Leesburg for both my emissions and state inspection, and the experience was excellent. The staff was courteous, professional, and efficient. I didn’t need an appointment, and the whole process was quick and hassle-free. They explained everything clearly and treated me with respect throughout. It’s great to have a local spot that handles inspections with such care and professionalism. Highly recommend for anyone needing emissions or safety checks!

  I had a great experience at the Shell station in Leesburg, VA for my inspection and emissions testing. The staff was friendly, professional, and got everything done quickly. Highly recommend if you need a reliable spot for your vehicle inspection or emissions test.

  Don't go here for inspections my friend borrowed my truck since his car was in the shop not knowing my inspection was dead he decided to get an inspection for me as a favor well the mechanic here dicided to disconnected my emergency brake -_- said it failed (worked fine before that) I take it to my mechanic in town (30 years experienced) and he told me 100% that someone went out of their way to disconnect it what a safety hazards that is luckily my friend never had to use it during his trip but I'm 2 states away otherwise that would be an easy lawsuit what a safety hazard it is just to take your vehicle here avoid at all costs smh

  BE PREPARED TO WALK. Went for inspection, they squeezed an extra ~$40 out of me. Both my 2 month old wipers just both happened to be sliced in the same place. Now, lets give them the benefit of the doubt here, maybe the new wipers were busted. but ~$40 for new wipers is egregious. I couldn't walk as I had to get back to work...so, be prepared to walk.

  Terrible experience at this inspection/emissions. Mechanic has an attitude, rude and chauvinistic towards woman. All men before me, including my husband, were treated fine. I was the first woman and the mechanic was despicable! Any car that takes less than 5 minutes to pass inspection was not inspected thoroughly either. Reporting this inspection station to the State of Virginia. Please read my complete review in Yelp. I attached a screen shot for your convenience. Absolutely the poorest customer service I’ve received in a long time! Go elsewhere!

  These guys now take over 45 mins per car to do Safety Inspection!. I noticed they don’t have a sign for Best Of Loudoun since 2018. I guess that was the last year they were good. Shame this place you used to be my go to spot for Inspection.

  On Oct. 16, 2023 I contacted Mario at Plaza Shell regarding replacing the right front air shock on my Mercedes CLS500. I indicated I would provide the parts and wanted an estimate on the labor associated with the repair. He indicated his system used to provide estimates was down, but he would call me back the following day with an estimate. The following day I never received a call, so I followed up on my original request.Although he didn't contact me with an estimate, I had previously had work done at this place, so was confident I would allow them to do this job. I dropped off my car for the repair on Oct. 18, 2023. A week later, my car was still sitting unrepaired. I placed several calls to Mario indicating I needed my car back ASAP. My car was supposedly repaired, so I picked it up on Oct. 27, 2023. I drove the car home (4 miles) prior to heading out of town for several days. When I returned home and drove the car for the first time a few miles, I audibly heard air gushing from beneath the hood. It was clear to me the air hose was no longer connected to the shock he replaced. As a result, my car sunk considerably.When I called him on November 6, 2023 to report the problem, he proclaimed he was too busy that week to look at it and asked that I call him on November 13, 2023 to schedule a time during the week to drop off the car. I patiently waited and did as he asked. On November 13, 2023, I called Mario and continued to make excuses about how busy he was and asked that I drop the car off the evening of November 15, 2023 so he could look at it the next morning. I waited for a call from him on November 16th & 17th, but never heard from him. I called the shop morning of November 19, 2023 and requested that he give me a return call. I never heard from him, so the evening of November 20, 2023, I personally visiting the shop looking for him. He was nowhere to be found, so I left my name and phone number and once again, requested a call. I never heard from him, so I physically went to the shop again on November 21, 2023 around 1:30pm looking for him. He was out to lunch. I went back about an hour later and confronted him on the shoddy workmanship on my car and his lack of professionalism in not bothering to return phone calls (I guess since my credit card payment had already cleared for the $500+ in labor charges, there was no urgency to follow up).As I continued to press him to get a firm date as to when he would fix the problem he caused, he made the statement "do you want me to poke one, two or three holes in your hoses so you can come back and spend more money?" Huh? What kind of real mechanic would make such a statement? Given the threat to do harm to my vehicle, I picked it up and will get the repairs done elsewhere. Marios nonchalant attitude about doing the job I paid him to do in a reasonable timeframe is unacceptable.I have been patronizing this business for over 15 years. Additionally, I have referred numerous people to this establishment over the years (four in the past 6 months). Needless to say, I will not be returning to this business and I will tell those I have previously referred to follow suit.Update, upon taking my vehicle to Mercedes Benz of Chantilly, it was discovered that the threads to the strut had been stripped by Mario (thereby destroying the strut). Perhaps that's why he was dragging his feet when I took my car back to have it repaired correctly.
