My sister-in-law recently had her hair and makeup done by Nesrein at Ulta in Leesburg, and the results were incredible! She created a soft glam makeup look that was subtle, glowing, and flattering. The blonde beige highlights came out gorgeous—rich in tone and perfectly blended. We came all the way from Maryland after hearing amazing things about her, and she absolutely exceeded our expectations. On top of the stunning results, the pricing was perfect—very fair for the care she provides.

Went for a simple blowout. Supposedly online it cost $45 when i got there i ended being charged $66. Which is fine but honestly $66 for a simple blowout plus the hair wash wasn’t even satisfying nor relaxing it was rushed.
Pricing should be more specific online

I just want to share my experience. I Made an appointment with Nesrein at Ulta in Leesburg, and it was such a great experience from start to finish. It was my daughter’s birthday, and she was made to feel so special, calm, and completely cared for.
The hair color was beautiful, the curls were soft and polished, and the makeup and lashes were flawless. My daughter walked out feeling confident and absolutely glowing.
I really appreciated the patience, kindness, and attention to detail throughout the entire appointment. She truly listened and brought my daughter’s vision to life.
We got so many compliments, and I’ll definitely be coming back again!
I highly recommend dealing with her, she is wonderful. 👍👍🌺

Went in with my girlfriend for a scheduled hair and makeup appointment. Everyone was very unwelcoming during our experience with them to prepare for a wedding. The stylists were constantly yelling in Serbian and admitting to trash talking their fellow associates. Two visions of potential makeup styles were provided to the one Serbian stylist, in addition to reminding them frequently of desire for a more sun-kissed, natural look, absolutely no “smoky eye.” I was disappointed to hear these requests were not considered. My girlfriend was thoroughly dissatisfied by the dark eye shadow for an outdoor wedding, reminiscent of 2016 styles, unbalanced blush, bright pink cheeks and her desirable features like well-kept eyebrows were masked by dark eyebrow makeup. All of this was difficult to address with a stylist more invested in hostile discussion at work than accommodating their client’s request. We understand one looking for advanced customization of style may want to seek services someone better equipped than a Ulta; however, we should not have felt it was necessary to but over $200 in products from another beauty store during our wedding stay in order to remove and redo the sloppy makeup which we had paid a decent sum of money to have applied professionally. Suffice to say, the services at Ulta were a waste of money when children’s haircuts were prioritized over back to back hair and makeup appointments.

I went in the other day, Friday, to book a hair appointment. I requested an afternoon appointment the woman who booked my appointment, NAVID, clearly only offered me her free appt times none of which fit my request for the afternoon. So, I went in today, Monday, to get roots and highlights done, possibly a haircut. Needless to say, Navid was late. Let me add here very quickly that I have been going to Ulta to get my hair done in different states, different ultas, for years for at least 5 years now. She took a look at my hair and she proceeded to tell me that she would do the roots & the highlights, Toner and $25 extra for Olaplex when I asked for a general price, she gave me a price of over $350 when I asked why it was so much bc in the past it was always around $200/250 plus their brochure claimed these services were top end totaled at $235 she broke it down and told me that there was going to be an $80 added toner fee. I disagreed with her. I told her that in my many years of going to Ulta to get my hair done. I have never been charged a separate fee for toner. We argued a bit. I told her then look in my history on her computer which she did. But she said she couldn't see anything. The manager was not there. So she got the assistant manager. She agreed that even in their little pamphlet showing the prices toner is not an added fee, It is included with the highlights. She continued arguing with me and adding lies on top for the asst. Mgrs benefit. Now she was saying i needed a whole color correction which we never spoke about but regardless, toner is included here as well! So I got up out of the chair and I told her that I wasn't going to have her touch my hair anyway, because she'd probably do something spitefully. The assistant manager was nice. She did try to smooth everything over. She told me she would have the manager. Call me when she got in at 12 o'clock. It's now 1 o'clock. She hasn't called me but I know she's probably very busy with just getting in and all. We'll see what happens, If I were you, I would definitely not go to Navid, she's a nickel and dimer, and she's not following Ulta's policies/guidelines, because ulta doesn't charge $80 for toner Separately. I've never once in five years Gotten charged for toner, and i've gotten highlights every time I went. Avoid that Ulta, or at least avoid that hairdresser at any cost. She was one of the rudest more argumentative people i have ever had 'almost' do my hair! Horrible customer service. God knows what she would have done to my hair.So maybe it's a blessing in disguise

Sami is an amazing stylist! She has years of experience and knows what she’s doing. You can always tell her what you like and she will give exceptional results! I’ve been going to her for about 2 years.

Gift Card Scam – BEWARE!
I had a horrible experience at the Leesburg, VA Ulta store on 7/5/25 at 7 PM. I went in with my mother to purchase $145 worth of merchandise using a $50 gift card she bought me for Mother’s Day. During checkout, the cashier accidentally tore off the sticker with the card’s code, rendering it unusable.
What shocked me wasn’t just the mistake—it was how the manager and staff completely mishandled the situation. I was told there was nothing they could do, not even a store credit, despite having the receipt and proof of purchase. Instead, I was handed a damaged gift card and told to call customer service. The manager refused to give her name, avoided direct contact, and never once apologized. A staff member named Ashley spoke to us rudely and folded the broken gift card as if it was worthless.
To make things worse, they admitted this has happened before with gift cards—meaning Ulta is knowingly selling faulty gift cards that can’t be used once the sticker is removed. This is a scam. I walked out of the store without my merchandise and without my gift card, and wasted 45 minutes being treated with total disrespect.
Ulta should be ashamed of this kind of customer service. If you’re thinking of buying a gift card from here—DON’T. You’re better off gifting cash. Shameful and unacceptable for a major beauty retailer.

I have always experienced a good purchase in this store but last time I had a very frustrating experience at this Ulta Beauty store. The day before, a salesperson wrote down my number and told me about a campaign offering gifts, samples, and skin tests, encouraging me to come back the next day very professionally . However, when I arrived, no one seemed to know what was going on and that lady was not there. The staff kept asking, “Do you need help?” without any clarity on the campaign, and they all looked at me like I was out of place. It was confusing, especially since no one even asked for my number, even though they had written it down the day before.
Even the staff testing other people’s skin didn’t seem to know how to help me. They just looked at me in confusion, which made the experience uncomfortable. Finally, after insisting, I did receive some samples, but the whole situation left me feeling dismissed and awkward.
It was a disappointing experience, and while I understand mistakes happen, this lack of communication and clear information was frustrating. I hope Ulta takes this into consideration and improves both the internal communication among staff and their customer service in the future.

Store is started ng to show it's age; however, staff is helpful and friendly. They helped my daughter find a matching color and discussed options.
