The pharmacist there was extremely helpful when it came to helping me to get everything my daughter needed for her breathing treatment. SHE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND! I am so grateful to her. Her willingness to help the way she did allowed my daughter to be able to begin treatment and she experienced noticeable relief that same night. Kindness goes a long way and her working with me so close to closing time really meant a lot to me. She didn't make my daughter wait. She assisted the best she could and it speaks to her professionalism and character.

As good as the promotion can be at Walgreens they need to work on training better their associates

The bathrooms in this Walgreens are shockingly filthy. I would never pick up prescriptions from such a dirty place.

If I could rate zero stars, I would have. Not an employee in sight to ask where items are located. I left without making any purchase. Obviously, this store does not care about making sales or about giving good customer service. Or giving any customer service at all.

Extremely rude staff, poor customer service,
I went to the store to pick up my medication, which appeared as "ready" in the system - 2 boxes. But when I arrived, the pharmacists gave me only 1 box.
I asked for the other box, and the attendant confirmed that it was only one box. After I insisted, she required help from another attendant, who informed me that my prescription was indeed for 2 boxes, but said I could only buy one per month.
After i explained that my doctor prescribed 2 because I was going to travel, they just told me that next month I could go to any Walgreens pharmacy in another state and get the second box.
I explained that I wanted to buy my box in this Walgreens, not out of state, because I didn't even know where in the other state I could find a store.
The pharmacist asked if I would be willing to pay the corresponding price of the second box, and I said yes.
After another 20min, of internal discussions and laughing from the pharmacists, they came back and said that I couldn't buy more than one in a month! There is no rule/law related that limits this medicine purchase to one per month.
I'm wondering which type of guidance the Walgreens administration is passing through their staff that paying customers are now denied to buy medication.
This was the worst experience I had ever had in a pharmacy.
I really hope they start training the staff on customer service, because today they lost multiple.clients.

Unfortunately their pharmacy steered me in the direction to pay for the brand vs generic version of my medication (more expensive). Then was unable to email me a receipt to submit a claim to get my money back, forcing me to come in person to pick up the receipt. Switching pharmacies.

Edited. I suspect the pharmacy is overworked and support staff is stretched thin. my beef is with the app and the app developer. I am tired of the excuse, "we have nothing to do with the app." It is a Walgreens App....

I hate this pharmacy. Hate is not a strong enough of a word. I finally left when they failed to reconstitute my daughter’s liquid antibiotic (after many egregious mistakes before this). Thank the Lord I figured it out before I overdosed her. I called corporate. When I went back to the pharmacy a few days later to pick a an rx that was on auto fill and before I could transfer pharmacies, the account must’ve been flagged bc the pharmacist apologized and quickly said “I wasn’t working”. Uh ok. Like that makes what happened any better. No accountability. How about this will never happen again. We’ve put protocols in place to prevent this. Or so and so has been given further training to prevent this from happening again? Nope. Nada. So I left and took my RX to Wegman’s. Talk about stellar customer service. They’re on top of their game. Fast forward to today. Wegman’s can’t fill an RX because of a manufacturing shortage. So I called the dreaded Walgreens bc it’s a block from my house. I ask the pharmacist who answers the ph if they have the RX in stock. She says no. I asked if she could order it? She was annoyed and said “I’ll have to place you on hold while I look it up in the computer” I said ok Thank You. So she places me on hold and a few mins later the phone starts ringing for about a minute. Then hangs up on me. She didn’t want to help me. She did that on purpose. What pharmacy has it as standard practice to hang up on someone on hold? Shame on me for even trying when I loath this pharmacy so much. They’re incompetent and dangerous. I’ll drive 15mins out of my way and sick rather than use them. I don’t believe the positive reviews. They’re most likely fake or from the very few who’ve never had a problem or don’t use the pharmacy often. Believe the 1 star reviews.
