Hours: Leon's Auto Parts is an old school junkyard run solely by the owner, who is a great guy that knows the yard inside and out. The yard contains tons of vehicles, including many Ford, Chevy, and Dodge trucks dating back to the 50s, older muscle cars, and lots of imports. There are many older vehicles to pull parts from, with a particular abundance of mid-70s to late-80s American spec Japanese and European cars. The selection is too much to see in one day, featuring items like Toyota Celicas, Celica Supras, a Mk.3 Supra, several Mazda RX-7 models, Karmann Ghias, International Scouts, and various two-door muscle cars. The owner is fair and nice, and will help you find what you need if you are respectful, patient, and treat him well. He knows what he has and what items are worth. Customers must follow specific rules for a non-hostile experience: be humble and respectful upon arrival, do not come in a group larger than two or three people, and do not ask to purchase individual parts—only whole vehicles. No personal vehicles are allowed on the yard; you must walk. The yard is open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 2 PM, with entry permitted only between 8 AM and 10 AM. It is sometimes open Saturday from 8 AM to 12 PM if you call the day before. The place is monitored with wireless trail cameras. Good old school yards like this are extremely hard to find, offering excellent prices and awesome service for those seeking parts for outdated vehicles.
