I loved lexington prescription, had been getting my medications filled for a few years and my mom still gets her meds filled there. That being said……I received a very unexpected call from the pharmacy owner asking if I still had BCBS insurance through my employer, after advising him I did, he asked if I could get a different heath carrier as they were not making any money filling my prescriptions, since BCBS didn’t pay well. When I advised him I couldn’t, he then requested I get my prescriptions filled elsewhere!! I initially thought he was joking, since I had been a loyal customer for over 2 years. But he was serious!!! I am a medical professional and have never heard anything so darn crazy and unprofessional!!!

I have been on refiling my medication for over two years now with another pharmacy. I switched to Lexington pharmacy strictly because it was closer. The second time I get it refilled they failed to mail over some forms to my doctor. So in the process of trying to figure it out. I couldn't get past the incompetence as well as the constant I don't knows

I love the staff!! They are so helpful and always have a smile on their faces ? free delivery helps out a lot plus the delivery driver is a sweetheart I recommend this pharmacy to everyone my whole family go here now!!

About 9 people "working" there on both sides of the counter but no one will actually help you when you stand there forever waiting to purchase items. Only 1 other customer in the store besides myself. Finally just walked out without purchasing anything.

Service: 10/10Very good service, on the phone and in person.Cleanliness: 7/10Mostly clean but make sure to dust older products that don't sell as fast. They won't sell at all if they're dirtyStaff: 10/10I went to get a yellow fever vaccine for overseas travel and dealt with Chuck. Very nice, professional and answered all my questions.Atmosphere: 6/10Personally anything to do with the medical industry makes me skittish and nervous so it is what it is. I will say that the staff really put my mind at easeBusy: 7/10Steady traffic but not exactly crowdedValue: 5/10Stuff on the shelves is way overpriced. For example, I'm not paying $40 for a teddy bear. It really depends on what you're looking for, but I'd rather shop around online.Overall: 9/10This is a nice place and helpful people. This is an extraordinary pharmacy.The Team there is professional, thoughtful and so caring. Nora is an exceptional compounding tech and Patty at the front desk shows how personable customer service can be provided.They are all adept at complicated prescriptions, especially those that must be compounded.I highly recommend this pharmacy.

If you are ever in drive thru just stay there don't wait across the way till they wave you in.. 30 minutes later you will be still waiting and then go inside and of course the prescription is ready!!! Then you hear the lady in background say "oh I forgot their name". It would have been easier to ride to Roanoke after it than that.

They do covid testing but they won't bill your insurance. They will give you an invoice and you can try to submit it to your insurance for reimbursement. The tests cost well over $100 each and you must pay that up front.

Desperate for a COVID Test, LPC assisted our family on a holiday when they were closed, ensuring we received the COVID Test. A service that most drug stores would not consider assisting with. Could not be happier or more grateful.

Friendly service with a smile, a little pricy, but that’s because it’s locally owned/operated and not part of a chain. They sell durable medical equipment with personal help/service/guidance and offer delivery for those in need.Occasionally you may get to meet the pup that hangs out in the store. So adorable!
