Sitting here waiting for a banker while one discusses who should be dating Nick Cannon. Wonder if other banks value my time

We came in on a Saturday. We needed to get me added to my wife's checking account. We ended up waiting for over an hour for someone to see us. The branch manager was really communicative, hence one extra star.

It's a good clean bank with a friendly staff, and a very lean bank. I've never had to wait long to see a teller for a transaction. They have a great option on their app where if you don't have your ATM card they will send a code and you can still access your account at an ATM and get cash

Saturday morning. Only a few people in the branch but I've been waiting for twenty minutes. Should have read the other reviews before coming in here.

After being with Wells Fargo for 15 years I unfortunately had my first NEGATIVE experience. I had to go in because I lost my wallet (which had my debit card in it) and needed to order a replacement as well as a temp card. Michael Ernst was the gentleman who helped me and was completely rude. He refused to provide me with a temp card and told me there was nothing he could do (mind you, I had stupidly lost my card the month before and another man at this branch helped me no problem). He said if I was in a bind and needed cash then I could go to the tellers and have them enter my PIN to pull out money. This has never been the case before, bankers would ask for my ID (my passport) and then ask for me to enter my PIN for account verification as well as ask me security questions. Michaels attitude this morning was completely uncalled for, being at work early can be a pain, but this shouldn't be expressed on me, the customer. After trying to find a way to work with him, I gave up and went down the road to another branch, where the bankers friendly and were more than happy to help me.

Not a fan of the NYC Wells Fargo branches. I always have to wait in a giant line and they seldom help me actually accomplish anything. I waited in line for 20 minutes here and watched cranky customers being helped by the slowest bank tellers ever (yea blame it on the computers) while I waited patiently only to find out I was waiting for nothing. They couldn't help me do the same thing that I had done at another bank in less than 10 minutes. Problems. It's a shame I've been a customer for more than 15 years but I think it's time to quit. Their hours are too limiting and their service way too slow.

Rude customer service. A manager /"experienced" customer service rep named Kevin who helped me out ....sounded harsh and just had a very u pleasant demeanor.

Had yet another of those dreadful experiences we've come to expect from big commercial banks at this particular Wells Fargo location. So I decided to stop doing business with them entirely. This account I have had with Wells for more than 15 years, at one point having over 20 different accounts with them between personal & business. But one by one we've closed them out to move them to new banks. This was my last remaining account with Wells & was kept open only because it's a corporate account that has a lot of automatic deposits & withdrawals attached to it and thus will demand a lot of administrative effort to transfer. I admit I don't normally handle much of the banking of our companies nor even my own personal accounts; when I do, I'm usually able to do almost everything online; but this was one of those cases where I literally just happened to be in the neighborhood & figured it would be a quick & easy task. Especially since I had been there many times over the past 10 years. But I was wrong. I was there to take care of what should have been a few easy business matters. But after more than a half hour of my time & an endless stream of supervisors parroting the same old string of half-truths & untruths that we've all gotten used to from "big banks", I decided that even this small corporate account I allowed them had become unacceptable -- for me or anyone or any company who expects common courtesy, decent customer service or heck even just the truth. A week prior I had asked to deposit & cash a small check I had recently received. The teller went to do it but his supervisor came over to advise us both that "because this check is made out to the company and not YOU, unfortunately we can't cash it for you but instead we have to deposit it." They would then "hold onto the money for a few days" etc. In other words they wanted to borrow MY money for a few days so THEY could make money with it. (Lest we forget, banks are literally borrowing our money interest-free to make themselves money from it, through our deposits & the accounts we keep with them; in addition to their seemingly endless fees. That's their business model. To be fair, in exchange we receive the convenience of being able to transfer our money all over the world & pay our bills etc. It has the potential to be a win-win theoretically. Just not as it's practiced today. Hence the increasing popularity of credit unions.) The following week I decided to call their bluff, walked in with a check made out to me personally & asked for the same thing: deposit & cash the check, OR even just deposit it & give me a few hundred from it & keep the rest. The teller of course was useless in knowledge & ability to do anything. So his supervisor came over, a young snotty girl named Danielle, to inform us that they "couldn't do that because the check was too large". Instead they wanted to keep the money & release it to MY account in 3 diff installments spread over the next 3 weeks. A check made out to ME, i.e. my money. For a moment I honestly thought I was being Punked. (Sadly no Ashton Kutcher 2 b found). First Danielle gave me the old "it's for your safety sir." Then "It's only 7 business days". I responded "Do you realize you just looked me straight in the eyes and lied to me without even cracking a smile? How are you able to do that? Surely u can count. 7 business days can never add up to 3 weeks. Is this job more important than your own integrity?" "Is there anything else we can do for you today sir?" she coldly replied. I stood there considering the situation. They had already deposited the check claiming they had to "in order to see when the funds would be available". I decided to not only NOT do the

I'm not a Wells Fargo customer, but I stop by regularly to take care of business. There is a lack of professionalism displayed in this branch with a particular teller. I came here on a Saturday, so I am assuming its OK to be careless at work... I wont be placing a name here but what I will say is that professionalism and they way you speak to someone must be consistent, regardless or your age, gender or race. "Are you set?" is not a proper way to ask someone "Would you like to deposit with cash or check?" This is your job, not your backyard.

I've been to this location a few times and I must say, so far so good! It's a huge bank located on the corner of 58th street and 3rd ave. Every time I visit this location, I never have to wait in line. The tellers are always patient and helpful, making all of my transactions fast and easy. I would definitely return to the this location the next time I'm in the area.

By far the worst bank I've ever dealt with in my professional career. No courtesy phone calls and/or response letter after sending several inquiries. No one knows what they are doing!

the glass windows surrounding this corner building enhance the appeal of an otherwise average lobby. it's my goto branch since its nearest my place. employees are friendly and courteous and always seem to be smiling. I like that. note- the address may say its on Lex, but it's really on 3rd Ave (at 59th).

I have been with Wachovia for years now owning a personal checking and savings account. I walked in here today to open a business account and was awarded all types of opportunities from business leads, to a highly discounted rate on my car insurance, to renters insurance as well. The banker that we worked with today named Capria Stewart was all types of awesome in every way. She stated he had been a banker for many years and her way with customers is something else. Everyone was overly nice and willing to go out of their way to make things happen. I would recommend anyone looking for a reliable bank this is it!!!
