I go to this post office on average 3 times a week and the employees are fantastic. Always a pleasant and easy experience, and should something need correction the employees always work with me to correct it. Very happy with this location and I will continue to use their services.

The staff here are very polite and super helpful. I've shipped everything from letters to packages. They can tell you costs and shipping speed. You do need an appointment to get your passport applications done here. Make sure you follow all the instructions well for your passport application so you don't have to go back and fix any mistakes.

Super clean post office! Well stocked and offers a greeting card kiosk, plenty of mailing supplies, and a variety of stamps! The service was slow, but it was a busy Friday. Located in a strip mall, the plain facade is nothing to "write home about". They have passport service here so that's a plus! The hours are M-F 8:15-4:30. Not open on Saturday? Really? Lightfoot P.O. might have some folks p.o.ed!

My boyfriend and I went to the Lightfoot, Virginia Post Office in the zip code of 23090. Their hours stated they were open until 4:30pm, we were there at 3:30pm. They were closed and there was no sign on the door to tell a reason for why they were closed. I think that is unfair to the customers like us who had business to take care of and we were there an hour before they we're supposed to be closed. They need to put up a sign on their door to let their customers know that there closed and why as a curiosity to their customers. I also called the united states post office and had a file reported that they need to get the message to who ever is in charge of that location. This is a notification to any and all local residents that they may or nay not be there and open for their customers when you arrive. Just so all of you know and to be aware of how in consistent and in convient they are.
