They bring the garage to you! The entire install was wonderful. No surprise, professional and friendly. Came and installed 4 new tires on 4 high end rims for my Mustang. This is my second time using them, they have been perfect each time. I will be a three-peat customer for sure.

I’ve been fired from my job because Tire Rack decided to leave me stranded for 3 months on a order I placed back in September.These people are thieves and will blatantly steal from you. They have no concept of customer service you will wait three months for tires because they advertise tires as available when they actually aren’t.Then after you schedule a day off for installation the NEW tires “come in damaged.”After missing work all week long AGAIN they realize that they didn’t call to let you know that they dropped the ball yet again and instead decide to just come install the damaged tires anyway.Then they will say that the damaged tires they installed are covered under warranty but it’s not an ACTUAL warranty you have to go buy a new tire so they can reimburse you.To avoid having to actually reimburse you they will then just raise the price of the tire you originally ordered for one tire to the cost of 4 new tires so you actually pay double what you were originally quoted. If somehow you can afford that that (they were betting against you being able to do that since you can’t work during all of this)Then the tire you paid 4x as much for that they said was available is actually not available and they falsely advertised it AS AVAILABLE.When you call the customer service line (which is an oxymoron in itself) they transfer you to “Porter” and nobody else can assist you with anything except that one person they have designated.I have never experienced anything like this in my life and can’t believe this is the culture and attitude towards business and the consumer that keeps the lights on. Yikes.

Ive used TireRack.com for years, mainly due to the convenience of mobile installation. I think Ive had purchased 3+ sets of tires, and recommended it to countless others. The service and scheduling process has always been excellent. The people that came and service my cars have been really good.The reason for 3 stars is in what appears to be a new shift in this process from TireRack. For some reason, TireRack seems to be shifting away from mobile installation as a company feature, and downsizing or deprioritizing mobile installers - to the point where even in one of the biggest metros in the country, at an address where I had service just one year ago - TireRack now says "mobile installers are not yet in your area".Crazy. So an address that used to be serviced in a major region now has "zero" mobile installers. TireRack support says the installer in the area "recently closed" - and I can only assume they are referring to this Lorton VA location.What a shame. TireRack mobile installation was so good, and the only reason I purchased through TireRack.com . If TireRack isnt adding a value prop for me with mobile installation - why would I use them as a middleman in the tire buying process ? No point. Now I'll be taking my next set of 4 michelin's to a local ship and buying direct.Hopefully they reconsider shrinking their mobile installation footprint, and that the recent acquisition by Discount Tire isnt forcing this.

Review is about TireRack online purchases. Have bought many sets of tires online from TireRack for our four vehicles over the last decade. Always like Michelin brand. Buyer Beware. The road hazard insurance I bought from TireRack not only requires you to contact a third party company for pre authorization prior to getting the problem fixed, the "insurance" requires you to patch your tire, if possible instead of getting a new tire. Useless for me since I don't trust patched tires. I've had too many patches fail. As a female person out & about, the last thing I want is another flat & a six hour wait for a tow in blistering heat or freezing temps. Well, getting robbed & killed while waiting on a tow is more likely the last thing I need with crime so high these days.Michelin tires were good for years but the last set was punctured TWICE within a few weeks, so (1) one new tire not covered then (2) the 2nd new patched tire not covered because I failed to obtain pre authorization, because I didn't know. And the flats were within two weeks of install at NTB. Then on a different car with TireRack purchased tires less 1.5 years w/very low mileage and two tires go flat because losing air around rims. Maybe Michelin is not the greatest anymore? I'm not buying such a bogus, full-of-caveats road hazard policy again.

When the virtual rubber hits the virtual road there's Tire Rack. No more trips to the local tire shop, smelling the radials and drinking gallons of bad coffee while you're taking in the latest Maury Povich paternity mystery on an ancient tube TV. Ordering from Tire Rack was seamless and easy. Pick your tires, have them shipped to the local installer of your choice and drive away in no time. All pre-paid, with no hassle on either end. I have to admit this was a little out of my comfort zone (how the hell do you return tires by mail?) It all went flawlessly... and no Maury Povich. Five easy stars.

The appointment was made online and the tech showed up with my tires. Very professional and knocked it out in just over an hour. The convenience is great as I work from home and didn't have time to drive to a shop.

Tires show delivered, not delivered, since the were not delivered I have to wait another 48hrs until they will ship another set of tires, meanwhile cannot use my current tires. Also I cannot even have the option of shipping to my house to avoid this same issue it has to be another business, not a good policy, otherwise have had good experience but this is a bad one.
