Better off going to the Springfield location. Springfield has some really good friendly employees there too!Lorton location almost always has an extremely long line, not the fault of the tellers. While the employees aren’t rude, they also don’t seem compassionate or interested in trying to resolve the situation. While many of the issues I have seen when I have tried coming here (sometimes when I need small bills and there’s a long line I immediately walk out and go to Springfield), a lot of the bad interactions aren’t because the employees are saying anything wrong. Their reasoning as to why they can’t complete a request is very factual, but there’s no kindness, empathy or resolve to try to help the customers. The tellers have been pretty friendly, but the in person services side is different. They’re professional but very robotic.I had an interaction earlier, and while I can’t say they were wrong- I was still upset and said I’d close my account. I was advised to go to the teller where I can get a cashiers check to close my account. And while I was going to do that, the line was ridiculously SLOW. So I left since I was already there about an hour (waiting my turn for assistance). I am going to move the majority of my funds out of BOA and to my other bank. I gave 2 stars because again, in my interaction they weren’t wrong but the customer service should have been a lot better! First time I go to interact with someone (outside of a teller) in at least 10 years and it left much to desire.

My family went to open a bank account and We met Hasina Yousuf and she helped us open the account.Then our credit card got declined multiple times and we went there and she resolved all our issues and we got very great and humble service from her.

we visited this branch and found an awesome team Specially Chris, Hasina and Susan are dedicated staff. they assisted to open a joint account. Their reputation is well-earned and defiantly see them again .

The reviews on the branch doesn't surprise me one bit and in fact, I wish I would've looked them over before I decided to open an account with them last year. I rushed from the hospital to get to this branch before 4 p.m. to open an important account. I waited a few minutes at the desk waiting to a branch manager to approach me until finally someone from behind the line informed me that she would be with me in a moment. When she finally came over, I explained to her that I needed to open a business account, she stated that she would need to schedule an appointment for me to come back because they close at 4 p.m. mind you, this interaction took place before 4 p.m. I explained to her that I'm getting ready to go into surgery and bothered, she took a breath and said wait a minute, goes by the relation bankers office and explains that I need to open an account and she too gave a look of annoyance as she got up to approach me. Once again, explaining that opening an account isn't easy and that they would need to schedule me for a day to come back in. I explained again the important of having it done today since I was going into surgery, she took didn't seem to care and explained that I can either go online to set it up or go back in another day. I asked her how long it would take to close an account, she responded just a couple minutes so I decided to just close the account instead since 1. I need a bank that offers better customer service and 2. I need a bank that's convenient and stay's open longer than a 10-4 window. Well, the 2 minutes took over 15 minutes which I'm CERTAIN would've been enough time for them to just open the account that I needed. Honestly, I'm interested in knowing where customer service has gone. If I'm already in there with minutes to spare, why wouldn't you just help me when I stated the importance of opening the account? Why is it so necessary to give people a hard time? You're only in the branch for 6 hours anyway, couldn't you spare an additional 15-20 minutes to help a customer? Doesn't even matter. I closed my account, and will be going back to close the rest of the business accounts we have with them and will gladly take business to another establishment. You guys need to do better or just reduce your hours from 10-4 to 0.

I just left this branch I’m very upset with treatment we received today we went in to see if we could get a print old check copy my mom deposited few years back the guy helping her was very annoyed that telling us we could print this at home and he don’t have all day to do this well we jus need 1 copy of check and he ended up print out 2 different statement that charges her each page she gets charged and gets disrespectful treatment she been a customer since 03 and I seriously told her consider change her bank account seriously he jus gave us bad vibe to start my day

very bad customer service lazy staff they don't care about customer at all i went more then one time to open an accounts for my kids and the bank is empty I toke with big white dude don't know his name but he really do not care he keep saying we very busy can't do it today or tomorrow screw them I will never go back to Bank of America again.
