Moved to the area about a year ago. Learned of their fair prices and thought It was a great deal to move in. Ignoring all the negative reviews about steep rate increases. Well… a year later, my rate increased from $180 to $260 per month. Absolutely insane. I called them to find out why and all I kept getting was “It’s system generated… it’s system generated.” Well the system was put in place by a person who deemed it necessarily to screw ppl over as if money grows on trees. Why not $10 or $20? Why an $80 increase??! Ridiculous. Had I known I would’ve never moved in.

I first came on 1/2/2025 to see what size storage I would need. I three large boxes of clothes and a few bins that I want to store. I really like the service I received. Then I came again on 1/3/2025 because I realized the size I thought I would need was not enough. I was helped by the Manager (Tama). She was so helpful, professional, and she addressed my biggest worry (safety). I am thankful I was able to find a place close to my house. Overall, the facility is clean and looks nice.

Wonderful, they got me right in, took care of my problem, everyone was wonderful as nice as could be! Also the cost was very affordable. They will be my dentist from now on!

It's so very close to my house BUT goodness, I've checked my bank account and they have raise the price at least twice a year. I'm hoping to find a friend that will let me stash my little bit of stuff at their house for half the price... I'm really annoyed with the multiple price increases!!

Decent storage unit facility that looked to be well taken care of. Pretty clean. We were emptying out a unit and when we went to the office no one was there (at noon) with the door locked, and they were supposed to be open at 10am…

While the facility is nice, I have only been here a few months and they just raised the rent by 30%! It seems their business practice is to get you in with lower rates and raise them quickly. I could understand a reasonable increase but this is just wrong. I will be leaving shortly.

I had a great experience at this location. I was able to schedule it on the same day and the associate was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. He took his time to show us where our unit was located. The unit was spacious and very clean. It was stress free when I didn’t need any stress added to a long distance move!

I selected the unit that I wanted online. And I found that it was really easy to fill out the paperwork online. I went in the next day to get set me up with my code and they showed me where my unit was located. And where I would find carts if I needed one to put my stuff on to take back to my unit. They made sure that the code that they gave me worked.

Having just relocated I was in need of a quick place to store some extra things. Lorton Self Storage answered the call. I believe the guys name was “Nate”. This gentleman is well informed and communicates clearly. The value plus convenience continue to make this an easy choice when choosing my storage rental facility needs.

Nice staff . I went to a wrong before so I could not get to them on time . So I called them , told them all my story . They give another schedule the same day and received after being late with smiles and welcome. The nurse who had was also amazing . I recommend everyone this group

We came here cause we were looking for a reasonable price storage unit that was climate controlled and we found it here customer service was awesome and they were knowledgeable about everything in reference to all the questions I had. Our storage unit is right around the corner from our house in Lorton so this is another plus. We will recommend family and friends here always.
