Clean room, beautiful scenery, comfortable bed, great location for a tired traveler, and a helpful, pleasant proprietor. This motel is a nostalgic taste of Americana on the northbound side of US 29, about an hour south of Charlottesville. You get a big TV, mini fridge, tub with shower, and plenty of electrical outlets for recharging your devices.

We were very pleased with our stay here. We had read the reviews online, and we were not disappointed. The owner (I can't think of his name) was super friendly. The rooms were clean, and the hotel was very quiet. We actually made some friends with the travelers staying next door. They go there often and commented how they have never had a bad experience.

While traveling from NH back home to Florida, my grandson & I developed car trouble in Lovingston. I was able to get my car to the Village Inn. I explained my problem to Priti, the woman at the check-in.
She was so gracious & helpful...I was in tears. Gave us a room, information on a repair shop, etc. Was so warm & welcoming. She said we wouldnt have to worry, we could stay as long as necessary. I met her husband, Sam, the next morning. He was as kind as his wife.
The room was clean & inviting. I wiil DEFINITELY be back to see them!!
Rooms: Large room, comfortable beds, nice bath. Everything looked & smelled freshly cleaned. I do housekeeping for employment, so I know.

Beautiful view.. had a couple of issues. There is no cell service for some reason, but Wi fi is available. My AC unit didn't work too well, which led to some pretty uncomfortable nights. My last night here, the power went out due to a storm and made it ultra miserable.

Nice clean rooms. Not modern but very clean. Office is in the house to the right of the hotel not actually part of the hotel.

Quaint Inn in Lovingston VA, exterior gives a charming Dutch-German vibe, with an archway and painted designs on the shutters and sides. Room is cute: original artwork on the walls, beds with dimmer lights on the headboards as a feature new to me but I could get used to. Clean, comfortable beds, very quiet at night. We all got a good nights rest. Amenities included: Mini fridge and microwave, large TV, beautiful desk, plenty of lamps. Shower pressure was so great I doubled up on my showers. There's a pizzeria across the street, a brief walk for a satisfying Italian meal. Highly recommend a stay.
