This is the ideal place to stay if you are planning to visit Luray Caverns, the caverns are just 4-5 minutes driving from the hotel.
Nearby activities: Perfect to visit Luray Caverns.

Newly renovated property & rooms, safe location. Quick easy drive to Luray Caverns. Breakfast restaurant attached, bit pricey and just ok food. Only fair complaint was the tv/cable picture was not very good. Nice place to stay for a couple nights.

Rooms: The room was clean. A pretty quiet place. A simple hotel but one nice feature was the vanity area with the sink had a heated floor, which was really nice. We should’ve gone on into the shower area! it was nice having a full service breakfast that you could purchase to order

Over 10 days, I stayed in 5 different hotels. All part of the "Choice Hotels" brand. The Quality Inn in Luray was by far the worst. Let's do the good first. The location is fine and the staff was very friendly. - that is where it ends.
First off, it was me and my 8yr old son staying here. We get to the room, and off the bat, the room smelled like smoke, which the smell got worse when we ran the bathroom fan, which was super noisy. My son said it wasn't too bad, so we didn't say anything. Then, upon further inspection of the room, we found out that all the appliances were unplugged. So the fridge smelled from the freezer thawing and wasn't working it had dirty water on the bottom. The microwave didn't work. There were wires sticking out of light fixtures. The maintenance work was shady as ----. There were stains on the bedding and chair, items like a glass and screws left in the room on the closet shelf and the word "slime"written on the ceiling. Lastly and my favorite. Food was under my bed. Yup. (See vid for that) Needless to say this room was a disaster. I get they had a help wanted sign out and maybe they are short handed. But this was a bit beyond that in my opinion. This is lack of caring about your guests' stay. I did the next day give the staff a letter inside the cup that was left in the room which had the screws I collected as well. I'm sure it went no where, but I did do my part and gave it to the young man at the desk that morning. I was waiting and giving them a chance to reach out to me. But it's been over a week since my stay, so no such luck.
I will also note that there were two young ladies complaining when I went to check out, I assume they had a similar experience.
Rooms: Disgusting
Nearby activities: Luray Caverns and Skyline Drive are close by. Some great food as well.

Great value for the money close to the national park and walking distance to town. I’m surprised how many negative reviews I read. No the room isn’t the most updated, and yes there were some stains on the bedding but it was clean enough and fine for the budget price. My only complaint is that the bottom sheet wasn’t long enough to be tucked in at the top, so the mattress was exposed and I had to remake the bed.

Rm 113 has black mold on ceiling. When we reported and asked for new room, desk attendant was far too vocal to be helpful.
Not an hour later, someone else was staying in Rm 113!
Breakfast not complimentary, only 2 coffee pods in room

Black mold on shower ceiling in the original room.
Walkability: Easy strolls to many restaurants and drinking spots.

This is probably the worst motel I have stayed. You may think the room is clean but upon further look, stains on the shower curtain, dust in the towel shelves, hairs in the bathroom corner……literally anything you can think of. If there is a zero star, I would. Pls I hope you all read this before booking. I don’t know how other people gave their five stars to this but I just really really can’t lie on that.

Was asked what floor I wanted and as long as I've been going to hotels I've never been asked that...of course I took a first floor and had a parking space right out side the door ..the had a delicious breakfast at the hotel restaurant

This hotel was, ehhh.... we probably won't be staying here again. First, we received a call around 6:45pm asking if we were still checking in because she was leaving at 8:00pm and needed to pass information along (this could be somewhat understandable if computer systems were down, but it left us a bit confused). The smokeless-ness of this hotel is certainly not as through as last night's and the air purifier was definitely needed! The room was not throughly cleaned - there was hair all over the bathroom floor when we came in and had child hand print smeared along the bottom third of the full length mirror. The restaurant next door, where you can buy your breakfast (no complimentary breakfast here), blared music well into the night (Monday). I'm sharing a picture of the "mountain view".... but as I said- this is a no return for us!

Nice place, clean rooms and the breakfast is worth it. There's a karaoke bar next-door that thumps music until it closes (10PM). Bring earplugs or wait it out.

Nice place to spend the night. Walking distance to local restaurants and a great restaurant that is attached to the hotel. Great staff, food, and service. Quite a few locals stopped in for breakfast.
