My husband scheduled an appointment in August originally. He went in for an initial appointment and they told him he needed a crown and filling. He made his next appointment and paid in advance, just for them to cancel the appointment 3 times and were unable to schedule anything soon, claiming the dentist was out of town on Fridays, despite them booking the appointment on Fridays. They canceled the day before and morning of appointments, then rebooked weeks away just to cancel again. He started having tooth pain after weeks of waiting and we scheduled him for a new dentist who found that the tooth had decayed and he now needed a root canal because of the wait.Would give negative stars if possible.

I have really liked all of the staff members that have worked with me. I do not like the phone system. There have been times that I have had to call more than 5 times in a day before I was able to speak with a member of the office staff. However, I was very happy with my dentist. He was very professional, explained everything, and helped calm my nerves. He answered any questions I had and I did not feel rushed or ignored when I had questions. I have had a few times that my appointment time has been changed or cancelled which was frustrating. I would recommend Aspen Dental overall, but I do think some of the systems in place could use improvement.

Lynchburg, VA: the young lady who did my xrays really calmed me down after a few fears. Then dentist was extremely knowledgeable and great personality. Quick, reasonable, efficient, they really listen to you as a person not a dollar bill, and great personality from all staff. I highly recommend Aspen Dental at this location. You won't regret coming here. I drove 1.5 hrs to come here and it was definitely worth the drive.

Was a good experience. However since the doctor is not in my insurance network, the cost of what needed to be done would be very expensive. However they did say they could work with me financially which made me feel better.

What a wonderful experience at Aspen Dental in Lynchburg, Virginia. I was a walk-in and they immediately helped me. I had a very infected tooth and the pain was unbearable. Every single employee treated me with upmost respect. After the consult with the doctor, we decided to remove the molar. I honestly felt I was in a room full of my closest friends. I will never go anywhere else.

Everyone there was extremely nice , very friendly and professional. Pulled my my broken tooth and consulted me on the next steps I should be taking. Gave me several payment options for my future work. Even contacted my insurance company to see how much would be covered. I will be returning.

I'd give zero stars. 70 year old woman here paid for dentures because they said I didn't have dental insurance. In fact through Medicare I do. They've promised to reimburse and have not months later. I can't imagine how many elderly people they steal from daily. I have talked to everyone in the company getting the same we'll reimburse. I encourage anyone who has Medicare and received dentures to see if you overpaid. They snuck charges in as treatments that never happened. Suing.

Since moving back to Lynchburg from NY state,I must say I am very pleased with the courteous and professional service that I have experienced. The girls in the front are compassionate and understanding. The only glitches were the computer related delay of my dental records from out of state but this wes understandable and explained to me.

If you like predatory business practices this dentist is for you!So to start off, I thought the staff was really nice. But considering the way the higher ups seem to make a habit of treating their patients, I feel bad to know the way the employees are probably treated. So, I had an issue I needed to see a dentist about- I called everyone in the area. Aspen dental said they could schedule me for the very next day so I went there. But during that appointment, they just took X-rays, examined my teeth, and told me I need a follow-up to actually get anything done. Ok no big deal, insurance only covers one visit every 6 months, I thought they said they'd get the cleaning taken care of that visit on the phone, but I must've been mistaken. They say they'll call me soon about making my follow-up. Not so eager to get me scheduled now that they have me on the hook. I tried calling the next week to schedule myself, but they said they'll call me when they're ready... Understandable I suppose. So appointment gets made for a little over 1 month out even though it is a rather pressing matter with a very easy fix. I show up, and it goes pretty well, staff is nice, but they ordered prescription toothpaste, mouth rinse, etc. Without asking, which my insurance doesn't cover.... Ok. I didn't realize that my insurance definitely does not cover this stuff so I took it, just to find out later Im paying an arm and a leg for it.After the appointment, they say I need to talk to someone before I go. Sure. It's their marketing person. She says they actually only did the first part of the cleaning this time, and they've scheduled me for the other half in a couple months. That they've already made the appointment and charged my insurance for it, and that I'll be needing to pay around 400$ out of pocket for it and my prescription toothpaste and mouthwash, even though I never asked for this appointment or either of those things. I just went with it because I didn't feel like arguing with them and said I don't have any money on hand, but called back later and said I will not be a patient there anymore. Selling televisions or something maybe it's considered ok to act like this, but as a healthcare provider? Yeah, what a joke. They decided to make something that should've been done in 1 visit a multi-visit charade to string me along and get as much money out of me as they can. No transparency and tons of scam-like business tactics, taking advantage of your lack of knowledge about dentistry in any way they can. Stay away from this dentists office. They'll be getting none of my money, I'll talk to my insurance about it, and maybe even report them for fraudulent/dishonest business practices. Completely disrespectful. All I needed was a cleaning. Never before have I had a dentist say they need 400$ out of me despite having insurance and to see me 3 separate times just to clean my damn teeth.
