Rosa (Maria) at the Lynchburg store was extremely helpful. She looked up the product for me to make sure it was in stock for delivery by Christmas and answered all my questions.

Purchased a washer and dryer set brand new. Not even a month after installing it was stuck on easy cycle. Got it fixed, 6 months later it’s doing it again. When purchased said 5 year warranty. Apparently it’s not. So have a junk unit that doesn’t work and Badcock won’t do anything about it. Will never purchase anything from them again.

WORST COMPANY TO BUY FURNITURE FROM. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL!!!! I’ve purchased multiple piece of furniture from not only the Lynchburg location but also the Staunton location in Virginia. The first set of couches I got, I’ve had them for almost 3 years in September of 2021, I’ve purchased warranty’s on ALL of my furniture because I have pets and they made this huge spiel over how it covers EVERYTHING. No, it really doesn’t! I’ve been trying to get in touch with the warranty to get the first pair of couches replaced, they gave me multiple number that were all spam numbers. Then told me the warranty I purchased doesn’t cover any of that. So why sell a warranty with false information? Great company right? Absolutely ridiculous. Someone from this company needs to get in touch with me ASAP.

Furniture shopping is not what I would consider a fun exercise. However, my wife and I enjoyed every minute of our shopping experience at Badcock. They have a very chill, no pressure approach, which compared to other stores, was very refreshing. They answered our questions knowledgeably and professionally, but there were no sales pitches or fake smiles. It was just real people, treating us like real people. DeVante was our salesperson, and he was great, but everyone there was as well. We paid for delivery and set-up, which was the same price as other stores, and they also were very professional.Ultimately, my wife got a couch, and I ended up getting a chair elsewhere, but honestly, I would have left them a great review even if we didn't buy anything. We'll be back for sure.
