Horrible since new owner. Tried to get gas with 2 different credit cards but both were declined. Moved to another pump and same thing. Went inside and handwritten sign on door that was blowing in the wind said ‘cash only’ ‘and ‘store closed’ but the 2 neon signs said open and one was blinking. The other neon sign that was on was ‘THC sold here’. The pumps did not have signs on them and they were not readable unless you walked up to the door. Nice young Girl inside leaned over the counter and said ‘cash only’ but she had to have seen me trying different pumps. I told her they should clearly mark all pumps because everyone else was trying to get gas and leaving. I don’t think she understood much English. Same thing the other review said. No numbers on register. I gave her a $5 for a drink and she gave me back $2. No idea how she figured out change because I have never gotten bills back without any change. I looked around and saw behind the register was totally surrounded by all things expensive and addictive. It has turned into a trashy vape cigarette and tobacco store with very little stock no deli and and another sign that said they could not sell beer or wine. Unfortunately it is like but not as nice as the new convenience store in Cornerstone that is targeting college students with the same crap. It seems a lot of seedy types of stores are popping up everywhere in Lynchburg. I’m not against CBD or THC at all. I’m just not going to any seedy store to buy it. Should never have been allowed in a residential neighborhood. The city needs to wake up and quit selling out for profit only without any restrictions on what the new owner will be selling. It does feel like America is selling out to anybody without regard as long as profit is made. Zoning boards and council members should wake up and realize the negative impact to our city.

I used to stop in 2-4 times a week and grab lunch. Now that the place has new ownership, it’s has gone to trash. The shelves barely have anything on them, the place is dirty and the people can hardly comprehend English. Stop buying up our stores and running them into the ground! Same with Goode Country Store.

I went in and saw that the Jack links beef jerky Doritos flavor were for sale at 1.79 a bag. I got two. They rung then up and no price showed on the registry. I tapped to pay and then the total came out to 16.98. I asked why it was so high and the workers told me each bag was $8 and that the product was mislabled. I asked for a refund and showed them the 1.79 price and was told they can't do refunds since in payed in card, though it all just happened within the store. I asked for my receipt and left but was left with a very disgusted feeling, not due to the mix up, but due to the lack of accountability and initiative to correct the stores mistake.

Same as the other recent review. 730pm now, sign says 9pm but store is closed.

Every time I stop here anytime after 8pm they are closed even though the posted hours are 9pm during the week and 11 on the weekends. I've been a regular customer for over 10 years and I don't understand why in the past few months they have been closing early.

Had a ID/passport issue with one of the clerks Scott and the manager and the young lady that worked that morning were phenomenal and help. Donnie is 💯 and so is the young hispanic lady! Thank you guys!

Everything is always broken here! They can't kee the heat on because it trips the breaker, can't keep the coolers on to keep the drinks cold because it trips the breaker! The lottery machine is down half the time, drinks machines are broken...the list goes on and on!
