So excited to find this local antique store back open for several years they were online especially after covid. But I stopped over or saw the door open recently and they are back with regular store hours stop in and check out some Treasures. Located in downtown great history of the building asked them about it.

When we went inside a lady asked "How are you doing?" She then walked to the back where the counter was. We were looking at a couple of items we were interested in. She never asked if we needed help. Then my husband was looking at a Hutch that was beside where she was standing. He was looking for the price and finally found it was sold. She could have said something to him. We decided to leave. We were the only ones in the store. We will not be going back.

We were in town moving our daughter into her college dorm, and had some time to explore the town. This shop looked interesting but was closed when we arrived, so their hours needed to be updated on Google as their shop is appointment only. I gave 3 stars for potential.

Loved this place. It is so quaint and beautiful. The owner was friendly and kind. We were there to buy an antique doll for my sister and she just made my brother and I feel very much at home.

Loved that we were given just the right amount of attention (Saturday, January 27th)! We were welcomed by a friendly lady who allowed us to wander through the store without engaging us in senseless chit-chat (one of my pet peeves), and who was very forthcoming and knowledgeable when we made inquires into a few pieces (especially since we are a younger couple, sometimes we aren't taken too seriously in antique stores). In the end I purchased a piece, in part due to her familiarity with the history of the piece that allowed me to gauge its significance (at least in my eyes, in terms of my collection). Thank you! Definitely had my eye on a few other things too, I'll be back!

Tried to buy something from them on eBay and they barred me from bidding because I had "left too much negative feedback for sellers." Here's the record: Over many years, I sold 77 items and never had a SINGLE bit of negative feedback. As a buyer, I posted 4 negative reviews out of 28 purchases- because they deserved it! Those sellers sent me junk not as described. So according to Buzzards Roost, "we don't need to deal with crazy people like you." Right out of the blue at the very start of the discussion. So you decide- who is being the j*** here? Good luck buying from these weirdos.

Antiques Great little store in downtown Lynchburg that has quite a decent collection of old items. I have passed the place many times while walking around and today I decided to see what they had beyond what they put out on the sidewalk. It is my kind of antique place: on the dark side, a bit musty smelling and jammed with old pieces of this or that scattered everywhere. We saw some very nice pieces that we will be back for but I managed to find a little something unexpected and the price was very reasonable. Prices in general seemed reasonable and I could have spent another hour in there. Very helpful woman working there - and not all up on you to purchase something. Overall a very good experience- give it a try. Parking on the street.
