“A couple weeks ago, my father passed away and my family and I were scrambling to find something to wear to his funeral. In our frenzy, my husband had accidentally picked up tuxedo pants in the wrong size and we did not realize this until the day of the funeral. We went to place a pick up order for the correct suit pants but the website said the order would not be ready until hours later. He called and explained the situation and the woman working the pickup orders (I'm sorry, I did not get her name) was extremely understanding and got the order ready right away. We were able to pick the correct pants up in less than 30 minutes. I am so thankful for her help as she did not have to expedite our order. It made a tough day a little easier.”
“Went to pick up my wife it’s a distribution center not a store. Parking lot is horribly inconvenient and if the row you look in is full you have to exit and reenter to try another row. All rows are the same one way direction”

My wife returned and had her concerns addressed by a different employee. Olivia was amazing and ended up resolving all of her issues. + 3 stars.
I highly recommend specifically requesting Olivia for anything color related.
Orignal post (2025-08-29):
1. Foils kept falling off my wife's head. Foils removed inconsistently resulting in a patchy end result.
2. Employee insisted on toning cool instead of warm thus ignoring main requested service.
3. Curled my wife's hair when she specifically and repeatedly to be straightened.
4. Bleached my wife's shirt and pants beyond repair.
5. Ripped hair out of her head on multiple occasions
3 hours and $200 for poor service.”
“To be honest about a year ago I was so disappointed in Talbots customer service I cancelled my account after 25 years. I walked into the Lynchburg Virginia store and my faith was restored. Sandra Smith, the store manager, was amazing. Because of her excellent customer relations I reopened an account. I will only shop at the Lynchburg store because her and her leadership in the store! Talbots, leaders like Sandra should be rewarded !!”
