I have never cared for this pharmacy because of it's poor service and lack of customer care, but tonight takes the cake!! Prescription was sent over to CVS by the doctor at 5:30 pm. Around 6 we both called and sat on hold for over 40 minutes a piece!!!! Their phone service goes straight to hold without someone putting you on hold... so then I get there to pick the script up and it's a line of 5 people (I'm the 6th). And the 5 in front of me are all talking about how they called and set on hold as well. So I called the number while I was standing there waiting and the phone never rang!! Without me mentioning anything the lady responded to one of the others talking about the phones and she stated the phones were broke. So I called the number again, except this time I hit the extension for "providers". Sure enough it rang and someone answered. THEY HAD THE RINGER TURNED OFF FOR PATIENTS!!!! To top it all off, once i got to the counter (30 minute wait in line) they didn't even have the script ready. Needless to say after this experience we switched pharmacies. We switched to Walmart and struck up a conversation with one of the pharmacy techs there (about that cvs) and apparently it's an awful place to work as well. It shows too, because everyone back there at the cvs pharmacy was in an awful mood and talks to you like crap.
