Fort Hill Bowling Center is a very nice and efficient bowling alley with modern scoreboards that simplify control. The lanes are kept up nice and the price is good and affordable. The facility has seen bathroom renovations and other upgrades. It offers a bowling alley and food court, with an atmosphere that does not have bright lights and music. Experiences with the staff vary. Some employees are genuinely nice, happy to help, and stellar at accommodating large parties, with customers giving huge kudos to the young workers. However, other employees did not seem happy to be at work, with some customers noting poor service, lazy workers, and being met with an eye-roll or treated like a problem. There is a noted issue with the business closing up to an hour before the posted hours, pushing people out the door early on weekend nights. Some minor critiques include lanes that were a bit too slick, the back wall needing some decoration, and the AC being on full blast on a cold day. Despite this, it remains a great place from an atmospheric perspective where many plan to return.
