Great gas prices probably the cheapest in the Lynchburg area good deli food staff is kind and polite and gas quality is excellent would recommend if you’re in the area

Please be very careful about getting gas at the J Mart on Memorial Ave. I stopped by there to get gas this morning on my way to Maryland for my Grandmother's funeral. I had saved up just enough money for gas to get there and back. I paid at the pump with my debit card, but something was wrong with it and took forever for the screen to load. When it finally did, I tried to pump the gas but nothing happened. I was trying to get 87 like I always do, and the other two buttons had paper taped two them so I guess they were out of that gas. Finally after trying for a few minutes, the screen said "thank you" and asked if I wanted a receipt. I didn't get any gas! I checked my account to make sure the money was still there, and it was gone. They put an 80 hold on my account and my tank was still on empty. I went inside to get help but they guy behind the counter basically said there was nothing he could do and I probably pumped the gas wrong. I know how to pump gas! I was in tears at this point because I was on empty and that was all the money I had. The worker could not have cared less. Luckily after frantically calling my sister she was able to send me enough money to get home for the funeral, but if not I would have been stuck because their pump was broken. Please be careful trying to get gas there.
