A couple weeks ago, my father passed away and my family and I were scrambling to find something to wear to his funeral. In our frenzy, my husband had accidentally picked up tuxedo pants in the wrong size and we did not realize this until the day of the funeral. We went to place a pick up order for the correct suit pants but the website said the order would not be ready until hours later. He called and explained the situation and the woman working the pickup orders (I'm sorry, I did not get her name) was extremely understanding and got the order ready right away. We were able to pick the correct pants up in less than 30 minutes. I am so thankful for her help as she did not have to expedite our order. It made a tough day a little easier.

We found a couple things on clearance after Christmas and then other things in general on sale. We had to come back and return something later. It all went smoothly and without an issue.

I cannot speak to the quality of the items I purchased, because I tossed them all back when I saw TWELVE people standing in line ahead of me for the ONE open cashier. Honestly, JCP, are you trying to have the store closed for good? ONE register open three days before Christmas??? Ridiculous!

DO NOT COME HERE ALSO DO NOT WORK HERE. TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT. DO NOT CARE ABOUT FIRING YOU RIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS. ONLY HAVE ONE REGISTER OPEN IN THE ENTIRE STORE. WORK THE EMPLOYEES TO THEIR LIMIT GIVE THEM AN 11 hour shift and only give a 30 min break. Terrible company would never give them a penny of my money.

It’s the holiday season and they have just one customer service station open. Ludicrous! I stood in line for 25 minutes and probably had another 20 to go before I would have been waited on. I had an urgent meeting, so I asked an employee to hold the two items that I had and I would come back for them in a couple hours. She said she would and took my name and the items. When I came back to the store, there were even fewer employees working checkout, and after waiting yet another 20 minutes in line, I got to the counter only to find out that my items were not there. The service at this store is absolutely atrocious. They are overworking the employees they have and they are extremely understaffed. I know so many people who would love to have a job there, but current hiring practices are horrible. Get with the program JCP! The only reason I didn’t give one star is that the employee who tried to help me find the held items was very professional, kind, and apologetic.

I have shopped at this store since day one. Love the children’s department. I have shopped for just about everything throughout the years. The hair products are top of the line and so convenient being in the store. The clerks are always friendly and very helpful. I hope we always have this great store at our mall.

The store is alright. There are plenty of departments. Several items were out of place - maybe not enough staff to fix things. Dressing room doors seem as if they're going to fall off, and the walls that hold the doors are flimsy. There was only one place to check out in the entire store - the kids' department. The associate who checked out my order was very pleasant.

Went to try a pair of jeans, they left half of an anti-theft tag on it with the needle pointing towards the inside of the jeans, so as I slipped it on in the fitting room it caused a long scratch on my leg and bled a little. I complained to the store attendant, who went“oh I’m sorry for that”. Since when should people expect to be scratched when trying on a piece of clothes? For this type of instance, a little “I’m sorry” is not enough, nor appropriate for treating a customer who told you she got wounded.

JCP is a Great Store for getting clothing, accessories, and gifts at a great price? ?
