The people that run this place are amazing. A few times I just needed a couple days to get paid, work an extra shift, or whatever I needed to do, and not once was there ever a threat of tossing my things out or anything extreme like that. They work with you, and in these times where you just need a little bit of help and understanding, they absolutely shine. Honestly, the best storage unit I've ever rented out.
But let me tell you about the physicals of the place. Each unit is perfectly flat, not once has any rain got into the unit, and it's just perfect for whatever needs to be stored.

The owner has the cheapest storage in Lynchburg and surrounding areas. He's also been very helpful to me when I've been in a bind and allowed me to catch up the rent on my units . I've been renting from him for about 4 years now .

This is the best storage place in town!! Whether short term for college students or long term rental, you will want to come here. Rented here multiple times and every time the front office has been very professional and made the entire process easy. Not to mention the units are clean and secure. You won’t regret storing your stuff here!

Highly recommend James and the team at Safe Lock Storage. We do not live in VA and needed guidance on how to best secure a locker for our daughter’s dorm belongings for a few months. The application and payment process was easy and the staff is readily available by phone. The facility was very secure and clean.

I can't recommend Safe Lock highly enough. The owner, who I've never met, was willing to communicate directly with me to help me find a unit, and even waived the prorated amount to allow me to move in a day early at no charge. The facility is clean and well kept, and very conveniently located just off Timberlake. Other positives include 24 hour access and very fair unit pricing. Additionally, I was able to take a 20' Uhaul box truck through with no issues, even driving past another parked customer. 5 stars is well warranted here.

I felt my items were extremely secure! Lighting, cameras and exceptional gating system. I previously at another establishment my items were stolen. Here I felt extremely secure!! The manager is fantastic so easy to work with! Overall you couldn’t be happier anywhere else!
