Enjoyed my stop at this antique store. Very spacious and nothing feels crowded. I was here with my teenage sons and there was plenty for entertainment. I did find something for a collection. Prices are reasonable. Many things not priced and you can suggest a price. The one staff person was at the checkout. We were not offered help but he was pleasant when asked questions and helping with the checkout process.

I called this business to confirm their hours since I didn't see them listed on Google. The individual who abruptly answered the phone call seemed incredibly annoyed. Once I asked the closing hours, he almost yelled "5PM" and just hung up. Once we arrived at this business, we were never helped. Call me old fashion, but customer service is still important. We left empty handed.

Great place, great owners, and really cool stuff! The construction on main street has made it a little more work to get there, but they're still open and worth the trip!

Don and I had a wonderful anniversary dinner at The Main St. Eatery. We both decided to order one of their specials which was the "Filet Williamsburg". It's similar to a Filet Oscar. It was a bacon wrapped filet topped with crabmeat and sliced mushrooms with a little bit of bernaise sauce. It was absolutely delicious and the filet was cooked to perfection. One filet was just slightly rarer than medium rare so I let Don have it so we were both happy. It was served with green beans and potatoes as well as a small house salad. It also came with a delicious roll. The butter though that was served with it was cold. I do wish it was served room temperature. We each indulged in a glass of the Moscato wine they carried. It was perfect as well. We looked at the dessert cart and finally chose a chocolate type of cake that we shared. It was a toss up between it or their bourbon pecan pie, or possibly the chocolate peanut butter pie that sounded yummy too but our waiter said it was on the heavy side. The excellent waiter surprised us each with a glass of champagne on the house before he brought us our dessert. That was a nice surprise! I would definitely like to come back here again and try some of their other menu items. Tim I noticed besides a salmon entree they also have a whole trout on the menu as well. Perhaps we can go back there together.

My wife and I along with another couple visited the store today. We arrived 10 minutes before closing. My wife found a Christmas present for her mother and was looking thru some records. She planned on buying the $90 record player displayed along with 10 records. At 17:02 an associate let us know they were closing. My wife stated she was going to make a purchase. The male associate looked annoyed and asked how long we would take. She stated she was almost done to which he responded that a certain person had left for the day and he wasn't sure we could check out. This upset my wife. She decided not to make the purchase stating to the gentlemen she'd rather spend her money somewhere where her patronage was appreciated. Because of poor customer service this antique store lost a $110 sale today. That may not seem like a lot. However it's still one less sale and four less happy customers than this store could have had. Once the associate realized we were leaving he yelled back to someone in the back that he was taking off. Either this store needs to re evaluate their employee choices or their customer service standards.
