To be honest about a year ago I was so disappointed in Talbots customer service I cancelled my account after 25 years. I walked into the Lynchburg Virginia store and my faith was restored. Sandra Smith, the store manager, was amazing. Because of her excellent customer relations I reopened an account. I will only shop at the Lynchburg store because her and her leadership in the store! Talbots, leaders like Sandra should be rewarded !!

I shop here for most of my better clothing and the service and cleanliness are always great. The discount days help offset the higher cost. You can order online from the store the items they don't have (they don't carry everything), then no shipping is charged, it comes to your house, and you can return if needed at the store. The fitting rooms are a good size and clean and their service with retrieving different sizes is helpful without being overbearing.
