A female cashier asked me for my ID and scanned the barcode behind my ID, she asked rudely and treated me like a criminal for buying a bottle of wine. Since when Walgreens requires to scan your ID like a police. I am over 50 years old. Don't trust them with your personal date.

Good luck trying to get someone to pick up the phone. 0.0% success rate. Plus this place feels like 1998 and it’s eerily old.

Associates was so nice and I had to do a return and they gave me NO hassle. She returned the hair dryer quickly and just asked was there an issue with it- which there was not I just decided I didn’t need to spend $50 on a drug store hair dryer- haha’
But if anyone is wondering they do need an I.D. Or license to scan to do any return- I HAD MY RECEIPT but still had to give them drivers license to scan!!

If you have multiple Prescriptions your going to wait a while for them to be filled. I've been waiting for nine days. This is the first time using Walgreens due to my insurance. I'm very disappointed with the service.

WORST pharmacy in Lynchburg. I've had nothing but trouble getting refills here. There's always an excuse. The truck didn't come in, they haven't got delivery unloaded yet, they have a backup, and on and on. I'm a veteran and use Tricare insurance. Once they told me I couldn't get a refill because Tricare goes down every Monday and they couldn't verify my coverage. Except it was Wednesday! I asked if they hadn't checked why it was still down 2 days later. Or if they just weren't bothering to get vets their prescriptions. Personally I think these excuses are lies most of the time. And why can't they text you if there's a problem with your prescription. They text you for everything else.ive also noticed the way they treat older people. There's usually a dismissive or condescending attitude towards seniors and their questions.

This pharmacy is the worst. I've had nothing but trouble getting refills here. They always have an excuse. But this time it's the last straw. I'm a 71 year old chronic pain patient with severe arthritis. I take a controlled substance for pain prescribed by a pain Doctor. I follow all the rules with pill counts, urine screens etc. BUT NOW IM GOING TO BE GOING THROUGH WITHDRAWAL FOR CHRISTMAS THANKS TO WALGREENS! I saw my Dr on Dec 16 and he ordered a refill for me. On the 20th I went to Walgreens specifically to check when I could pick it up. I was told on the 23rd. I took my last pain pill on the 22nd. I went to Walgreens on the 23rd to refill it and the told me they didn't have any refill orders! Why wasn't I told this when I went to check on the 20th???? Now it's 2 days before Christmas. The doctors office is closed for the week. AND I get to spend Christmas not only in extreme pain but going through withdrawal on top of it. THANKS WALGREENS!

Absolutely the most compassionate, efficient and knowledgeable pharmacy I have had the good fortune to depend on for my (very) complicated chronic illness.

Can't leave 0 stars unfortunately. Had a 3PM appointment scheduled for a COVID test, get there and the RX windows is closed because they "couldn't get a pharmacist" yet never called to inform me they were closing, didn't bother to offer to reschedule, nothing. Don't go here, go to CVS.

WARNING: Please do not use this pharmacy.Employees are very rude and also they try to make a customer feel bad when asking questions, especially Autumn in the pharmacy! We also noticed that the Walgreens in Lynchburg seem to be closing stores one at a time.Hill City drugstore is awesome. They take the extra time to answer questions and more. They always seems to blame customer for being rude, well keep blaming the public when front door is locked one last time. Please look at other store reviews, corporate seems to have big problems. Tread safely and good luck. When they insulted my wife and two young daughters-that was last straw!!!
