I heard my favorite post office was being slandered. Everyone there is quite genial and exceedingly accommodating. I send my mail there when staying at Wintergreen. On one occasion, my package was out on a truck and she postponed her immediate deliveries, driving all the way back to the office, solely on my behalf. She did this entirely unprompted, as though I were an old friend. Know that all of you are appreciated. -James

the place is not open much, just a couple hours a day, and every time it snows a little they are closed.

Lyndhurst is one of the smaller post office in the area but they are very friendly and efficient at servicing you. The small area of rental boxes and a smaller Parkin lot, that does fill up at peak hours. I occasionally visit this place because it's nostalgia and for a purpose. This is a good ole country post office with lovely people working there.

Mandy at the Lyndhurst post office is AMAZING! She kindly helped me when I accidentally dropped of a UPS package there and later in the day panicked realizing my mistake. She was very nice about it and retrieved it for me. Every time i go to this post office she is pleasant and kind. I really appreciate that! It brightens my day. Thank you Mandy!
