Only used them once but will definitely use them again for my delivery needs. They have decent number 1 lumber but way better quality and usually cheaper than big box stores, even with the delivery fee. Good customer service and versatile delivery drivers

Worse phone customer service I ever experienced. If you’re not a man they automatically talk down to women. The guy immediately told me I didn’t know what I was asking for. He just repeated himself because he treats women as so stupid. He wasn’t even listening to what I was looking for.

Very good experience at 84 Lumber. Ordered a bunch of PT lumber delivered for a fence build. Coordinated with Chris. Received a quote promptly. Had to drive to their location to place the order, which is annoying, but not a big deal. They originally penciled in a delivery date, but had to push back a day because they received some of the material later than expected. Again not a big deal. The delivery driver was great and able to put the material where I wanted even though it was a tight squeeze between my garage and a tree. Lumber was good quality and the completed fence looks great. I was bit nervous because of the reviews, but had none of the issues other people mentioned.

The two staff members there yesterday were not helpful at all, even though my husband and I were the only ones in the store. The two men seemed annoyed and like they could care less about their job.
We were interested in buying baseboards, so we looked at the display and picked out the items we were interested in. We go to the register to inquire about prices and one man responded, “That display is over three years old, they don’t make those items anymore.”
I hadn’t told him which ones I was interested in yet so how do you know the ones I want aren’t made anymore? And why do you have a display with a bunch of discontinued items??
So my husband asked for a list of current items and we spent several minutes browsing at the register getting excited about all that we wanted to buy. So we showed the worker our list and he says in a snarky tone, “well today is a holiday, and unlike us everyone is closed so I can’t call to get prices.” So why didn’t you say that from the beginning instead of us making this list right in front of you at the register? He could’ve said, “come back tomorrow or please call us tomorrow and we can get you prices…” something helpful instead of wasting our time and making us feel like we were burdening him by coming into the store. I was ready to buy things that day but now I never want to support this company.

Casey Lemoi out of 84Lumber Manassas came to our home this week to replace a window pane, and I cannot express enough how wonderful her work and customer service was. She was extremely attentive, extremely knowledgeable, and I appreciate that she was educating me every step of the way. She has a great passion to share knowledge and is obviously dedicated to her work, and I learned so much. And beyond that, she is just a nice person and truly cares about her customers. It was a pleasure to work with Casey, and I hope you share this feedback with her.
