I can’t believe my school ordered cap and gowns from a company with an average one star rating. I ordered my cap and gown ahead of time and yes, I waited until the last day to pick it up but I would have thought that they would save my size and color for me, the one who ordered it, but they gave it away. ?

Our school had options for cap and gown doctoral regalia mixed up. Michelle Kuhn reached out to EACH of us via email and phone call to remedy the situation as best she could! So appreciative of her customer service and above and beyond attitude toward getting each of us situated, at such a time of anxiety and excitement!

Truly wish I could give this company negative stars. They are swindlers and made my graduation very difficult to enjoy. Their customer service person was rude and started ignoring me mid call until my mom got on the phone. I purchased a cap, gown, hood, and stole. I only received the cap and gown the day before my graduation and I never got the stole or hood. Thank God my school had old ones from Jostens, a reliable company. Herff Jones needs to go out of business.

Absolutely the worst company ever to deal with! Don’t answer phone or respond to emails. My daughter never received her complete order, and we have not been able to get in touch with them since April. Schools should find a professional and responsible company to work with graduates.

Ordered Cap, gown and graduation announcements a month and a half before graduation. (Ordered the day the link was sent out by the university). I did not receive my cap and gown until the day before my commencement ceremony, and at least 15 of my classmates were missing items from their package, and a few individuals received caps that weren’t even colors that coordinated with the universities colors. On top of that, my graduation announcements arrived well over a week after the ceremony took place, and it was missing half the envelopes that were supposed to be inside. Don’t waste your money here and if your school uses them, demand they find another supplier.

Waoo, this is the worse company ever. They take pride in scamming people. I took the time to check their Ig and TikTok and all their comments are turn off so people won’t say their truth. I ordered my cap and gown months ago and they send it a week before my graduation but decided to send a stole from Singapore, when I paid extra money to get it from the Dominican Republic. I been calling them and sent several emails and nothing. I suggest WE ALL COME TOGETHER and send our schools a letter so they won’t be promoting or using their services in the future.

When ordering my cap and gown, I decided to add the stage clip ($25) to my order because just in case my husband wasn't able to get a good shot of me walking, a professional would.I was not aware that this "stage clip" would be the same exact clip that's on YouTube for FREE, published by the University, trimmed with just my portion.I thought this would have been a different angle or more coverage of me actually walking the stage rather than just seeing my head ...Definitely a waste of money.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. I placed my order for a simple cap and gown a month ago and I paid extra for Rush shipping just to be on the safe side. My college graduation is now in 3 days and my cap and gown have not shipped. I have called the customer service line approximately 10 times. The first two times, I got a customer service rep that was "routing me to the right department" only for me to sit on hold for HOURS and eventually I got a voicemail one time. Several other times, I would call and the call wouldn't even go through. I left multiple messages through their contact form on their website. They have comments on their social media pages turned off but one comment I saw was from a woman saying that it was a lottery who would receive their cap and gowns or not. I simply wanted my money back and now am having to file a dispute through my bank to get my money back. They took an event that was supposed to be joyous and exciting and turned it into a stressful, horrible experience! It is now my mission to shout from the rooftops about how HORRENDOUS this company is!!! They should be driven out of business! Awful customer service!!!!

They never answer calls, and when you check the status of your order, all it says is “in progress”. I placed my order for my cap and gown on 2/22/2022 and still nothing. My ceremony is next Thursday 5/12/2022. I’m trying to figure out what my next step should be. I am a big guy and all of the previous cohorts who are selling their used cap and gowns are small females. I was actually looking forward to my graduation, as this is my first degree, but I may not be able to attend. I wish my school used another supplier because Herff Jones has yet to meet their promise of delivery the cap and gown 4-6 weeks after order.

Literally the worst company!! I ordered my cap and gown over 2 months ago and they decide to send out my order I few days before my graduation. Guess what its signed and delivered to the wrong address. They don't answer their email. Customer service is always over and hour wait. They are extremely overpriced. Same order would have been $20-30 on amazon. I paid $110.

This company is by far the worst company I have ever had to deal with. I ordered my cap and gown April 21st and paid $20 rush shipment to get it by my graduation date which was May 15th. I called them the May 13 because my cap and gown still had not arrived & only it said “Processing” online. The lady i spoke with said it could come maybe it wouldn’t. So I had to drive to two different school book stores to get my cap and gown. I wrote this people 3 times to cancel my order as my cap and gown were not going to arrive on time and asked for a refund. I even called them and waited 3 hrs with no answer. This is horrible horrible horrible customer service. It is now may 19th and they have shipped my cap and gown. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU DONT HAVE TO. YOU WILL REGRET IT! THEY ARE BY FAR THE WORST COMPANY IN THE WORLD!

I am so upset this is so wrong, My daughter paid months ago for her daughter and son cap and gown and they walk next week and still have not gotten their cap and gown. This is going to damage my grand children for life and something needs to be done. my understanding there is a lot of children that are missing there cap and gown and it was already paid for.if i could give them a 0 STAR i would.

I ordered my cap and gown in March for my Master's commencement, well before the cutoff date. It’s now May 8, and I still haven’t received my cap and gown or an estimated delivery date. The only email updates I’ve received from Herff Jones is that my order is delayed. They didn’t offer any other updates or expected delivery date. I tried calling customer service and their line is always busy (why doesn’t a company this big have multiple lines?). I’ve filed a complaint with the BBB and am still waiting for a follow up. This is ridiculous. If there was anywhere else my school would allow me to place an order, I would have gone there instead, but unfortunately Herff Jones is the only place we’re allowed to order from.

Ordered a ring in November. Had to email to get an update. Was told it would be mailed beginning of April. Halfway thru May, I message and am told it will be hand delivered to my daughter's school and she will be called to pickup. Now 2 days before her last day of school and still nothing.. I emailed twice requesting a refund and now they claim to haave finally mailed it, Guess we'll see if it arrives... Somebody else needs to take over this market..

Wish there was a way that I could give it less than one star. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM. Ordered Cap and Gown for scheduled graduation and they strung me along the whole time stating that it would arrive BEFORE date of graduation. Customer Service is a joke. They do not have any information to give you because they are not even manufacturing the items and using a third-party, thus have absolutely no control over timeframes. Also, getting your money back will be a hassle as well. Had to go through my credit card company to dispute to return payment. FIND ANOTHER Company or you will regret it.
