I made a considerable investment when I purchased several pieces of outdoor furniture from Kingsley-Bate about two years ago for a new home and was initially pleased with their products. However, a contractor accidentally damaged one of the pieces last year; the damage was the result of a simple mistake and the contractor felt bad that it happened. The damage is minor, but very noticeable. I initially thought that the repair would be simple, but Kingsley-Bate refused to provide any useful information to help me repair the damaged product. I did not ask them to repair the damage. I simply asked for information regarding the finish so that I could either repair the damage myself or have a contractor repair it. Kingsley-Bate would not help me in any reasonable way to resolve the issue. So, I decided to replace the damaged item and now Kingsley-Bate has failed to honor the product delivery commitment timeframe that was originally quoted when the order was placed. I have spent almost $10,000 on Kingsley-Bate products including the cost of the replacement item. I am disappointed because I thought that I was purchasing quality products backed by quality service from Kingsley-Bate which does not seem to be the case, but I'm even more disappointed that my outdoor space is not finished as expected after making such an investment in money, time and effort, and especially after attempting to replace the damaged item at my own additional expense. The lesson learned is that I should have bought the more expensive furniture from another manufacturer because the overall quality of both the products and aftermarket service would have been much better. The additional investment would have been worth it, in my opinion, and my outdoor space would be ready to enjoy.

WARNING!! Stay away from all Kingsley Bate Furniture !!! My wife and I purchased over 18K in Kingsley Bate outdoor furniture to go around our new pool. When the order finally came in we applied teak oil to add a layer of protection as suggested by the supplier. The very next day we set the furniture and umbrellas out around the pool and we proceeded to cut the grass. There was a very very mild breeze that day but nothing bad at all. We made one pass with the lawn mower and noticed one of the umbrellas was laying on the ground. When we inspected it we found that the umbrella pole had broken off at the brass joint. Now the umbrella was not even open at the time this happened and had literally only been out for 30 minutes !!! We reported the issue to the store that we purchased it from and they said it should definitely not have happened and that they would submit a warranty claim to Kingsley Bate for a replacement. After a few days our sales person called us back and said Kingsley Bate had denied the claim!!!! Claimed it was our fault !!!! REALLY?? I am an engineer and I inspected that joint where it broke and it is definitely a weak spot in the design. Even Green Fronts furniture staff where we purchased the furniture was in disbelief that Kingsley Bate denied the claim. Check out all their reviews!!! The companies reviews speak for themselves. I just wished we had done our homework and read the reviews because we would have never made the purchase. Please do not make the same mistake we did. Stay Away from Kingsley Bate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Worst company we have ever delt with!!

If you want teak furniture that, after two seasons, looks like you bought it from a habitat for humanity store and if you don't mind flushing a lot of cash down the toilet, then by all means buy your teak furniture from Kingsley-Bates. After two seasons my Kingsley-Bates teak armchairs developed unsightly cracks in both arms of each chair. The dealer -Watson's fireplace and patio in Lutherville Md.- told me the cracks, checking he called it, were natural. Well, death is also natural. You can at least avoid one of these events by not buying poorly made teak furniture from Kingsley-Bates. Save your money and aggravation, steer clear of Kngsley-Bates teak furniture. And check out your local habitat for humanity store, you might find some of their furniture there cheap.

I ordered outdoor furniture from Kingsley Bate in October 2021. At the time the local vendor said I should not expect delivery before March or April of 2022. I understood the supply chain delays all vendors were experiencing at the time and was OK with the estimated delivery date. Well April, May, June and July came and went. When I reached out to Kingsley Bates their customer service was awful. The said the delays were not their problem, they would not deal with me and referred me to the local vendor. Not sure what they thought the local vendor could do if they weren't delivering the furniture. I even wrote to the president and marketing manager of Kingsley Bate and was not even given the courtesy of a reply. This company charges top dollar for their merchandise, but has the worst customer service. I eventually received the furniture on September 28th, almost 1 year after placing my order. I will not purchase from this company again and would not recommend them. There are too many other choices in outdoor furniture to subject oneself to this treatment or lack of!

I bought a teak table and it arrived with massive cracks in the supporting beams underneath. The company I bought it from, Botanical Decorators sent a carpenter out who glued some pieces and did not fix it at all. When I reached out to Kingsley Bate, they said they only deal with the company who put the purchase in. They will not help, and do not stand by their work.

Worst customer service! Bought a teak table that cracked in less than 6 months. They claim it was because of wind and not covered by the warranty. I was told to glue it. They also told me that I was not their customer and to take my complaint to the dealer.

The quality of their outdoor teak furniture is not the same as it was 13 years ago. The slats on a table were thinner and not made with quality products or craftsmanship.When dealing with their customer service they point the blame to the consumer when it's definitely a manufacturer problem because of poor assembly and or design.Save your money and aggravation and go elsewhere.

Ordered our KIngsley Bate outdoor furniture over two months ago and paid in full and have only received partial shipment. This is way over the ETA quoted by the dealer. Some of our furniture has arrived way past due and one box was full of carpenter ants. Gross. I had no problems like this when I ordered Gloster teak. Stay away from this company b/c they don't honor their delivery times. 2 months and I have not had my furniture for Memorial day and now it is the 4th and still half my furniture has not been shipped. At this point, I am wondering if we will see it for Labor day weekend.

DO NOT buy their Sling material outdoor chairs!!! We purchased 6 sling chairs and within one season all the Slings began to stain. We contacated Kingsley Bate (KB) about this issue and were provided cleaning instructions which we attempted numerous times with no success. The chairs look terrible and are an embarrassment to display. We contacted KB and they refuse to offer any replacement or appropriate compensation and claim the staining is due to our "lack of maintenance". Such BS, as we are very meticulous. Are these chairs to be washed daily? If so, then KB should clearly indicate such in their description and be upfront about the potential issues with their products.

After about 1-yr. an $800 coffee table has begun to de-laminate. Kingsley Bate says this is normal and sent me a can of touch up paint. KB customer service said i was lucky because the table was on a covered porch. It would have been worse out in the open ! Aloof and insensitive customer service is a great reason not to buy KB
