!!AVOID THIS MICHAEL'S LOCATION!!
I have been a Michael's shopper since 1980. I have shopped in stores coast-to-coast. I am a Rewards member. I have spent thousands of dollars at various Michael's locations. Normally, I give Michael's stores 5 Star reviews. Not today. Today, instead of visiting my usual Michael's, I visited the store on Sudley Manor in Manassas, VA. I went into my Michael's account, but it did not reflect my Bonus and rewards voucher that I received in an email. The email was a reward of $15.00. I also had a $5 Bonus. Knowing how these work as I have received many from Michael's over the years, I knew that the $15 Reward included the $5. However, when I punched the $15 Reward voucher, it wouldnt open. It should have opened and reflected a $10 and $5 voucher to be used. I was only able to access the $5!! I then asked to speak with a manager. The young man who arrived was extremely condescending while we tried to access it. He told me that Michael's was always updating their system. That was his only explanation. I told him I understood the frustration as I actually used to install computers and software. I told him Michael's updating their system was not my issue as the vouchers were good until 08/03 and the coupon said it was updated on 07/19. He said that "it's not my problem either" and thst he "didnt have time for this." Not sure what "this" was as I was very courteous. He offered no way to honor these rewards. Having bern a manager in various fields as well as a top-tier customer service manager, I can honestly say that were this my store, this young man would not be a Manager. He was rude, condescending, and offered no assistance. I would not recommend this Michael's location. This is unfortunate as, I have never encountered such rudeness at a Michael's.

Had a painting framed
It was a special graduation gift
Staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Used their system effectively and efficiently to scan the painting s they could then show us what different frames would look like. Didn't rush us to make selection. Finishing on time. Final product looked great!

A few months ago, I needed two pieces of art work reframed. In the framing department, Sheppard was more than helpful. He was engaging, professional and more than helpful with selection and pricing. He also offered some very good artistic critique.

We recently had Shepherd from [Company Name] frame some posters for our restaurant's grand opening, and we couldn't be more pleased with his work. Not only did he do an exceptional job framing the posters, but he also stayed to help hang them. Shepherd is a stand-up guy who goes above and beyond for his clients. Highly recommend this Michaels location for their outstanding service!

The store has a large inventory of just about everything you can think of for arts and crafts. This is a fun store to go shopping so many choices to choose from and just ten many from my house, conveniently located with large parking lot within a shopping center with restaurants and grocery store.

Shepherd in the custom framing department did an excellent job with our project. We had family heirloom antique tiles that were custom painted over 50 years ago, and he designed a beautiful way to display them. We were so happy with how they came out. He is very talented!

I had this painting framed recently. It had been folded up in my closet for several years. They were able to remove the creases, and did a great job framing it. I recommend searching the deep discount times - can save you hundreds.
