Terrible customer service on the phone, I try to make a payment for my mothers cars which I normally do online. Then changed there system and then the give you a hard time to make a payment cause they dont want to give any info on what is due or account number which is ridiculous. Every single check you make in any bank that goes out to the public has a account number on it so whats the mystery with d*** kia payment loan account number

They make $8,800 worth of charges on your auto loans without calling or contacting you first, then when you call to ask about it you get placed on hold or shuffled around to other people for hours

I had the misfortune of being introduced with Northwest Credit Union (NFCU) when purchasing a new car in 2017. Since 2017 I have had nothing but poor customer service, under performing software and problems when upgrades were introduced, and less than user friendly website. In the 4 term years of my loan - there were at least 5 different times where I had to spend hours on the phone with the customer service team to fix the problems created by their upgrades or data entry by NFCU. Thank goodness my loans is paid off and will never have to deal with them again. Consumers beware.

I've bought around seven cars from Hyundai over the last decade. Always at the same location, always from the same salesman. I recently got a letter from Northwest stating they didn't have record of my insurance and would be forced to purchase insurance on my behalf if I didn't provide the necessary info from my insurance that I've had for over a decade, over various vehicles. When I purchase a new vehicle I provide proof of insurance. This is the first time I've had to carve 40 minutes out of my day off to re-provide information I've already provided at the point of sale. I would say my impression is less than satisfactory with this lending company. When I asked to speak with a supervisor after providing my info, again, I was sent to a third party agency that collects insurance information for Northwest. So even when I wanted to complain to them, I had to do it myself. Who runs this company? Is there nobody that works there that can shoot down their horrible ideas?

It's a good little bank and we are glad we found it. Friendly staff and never a wait. We applied for a car long and it was a quick process with great rates ( half of the local dealership ). It's always pleasant to see Bernie there.

I LOVE working with nwfcu! It is by far the best bank i have ever delt with. Christopher helped get me taken care of and i couldnt be more ecstatic! I have yet to ever have any problem with them and hope to be able to continue my loans through them.

I have banked at at least four of the NWFCU branches over the past 8-10 years, and have had fantastic experiences all around. I don't know where the negative reviews are coming from (branch), but @ the Liberia Manassas, and @ Herndon-HQ, we've always had stellar experiences. A hot cuppa coffee doesn't hurt! The account benes for kids are especially best among banks/credit unions in this area, with annual Birthday Buck incentive, great youth certificates, a high-yield interest on kids' savings accounts, and finance education for kids, too.

This is a good place to bank. Still has that customer service feel to it that is lacking currently in the big banks such as Capital One and Bank of America.

I always have a pleasant experience when banking at NWFCU Manassas branch. The staff are very accommodating, nice and are always smiling. Better than going to their main office in Herndon where I go at times I had to check in at my work.
