The manager is a stupid lunatic, I only asked for change for a torn bill and he came out saying that the bank gave it to him that way, I am within my right as a costumer to ask for good treatment and quality in their service, the tellers wanted to help but it was the manager and they had to keep quiet, he is a terrible person, and apart from everything, when I asked for my money back he wanted to rob me, I love Ross, I had it as my favorite store to do my shopping, it's a shame that they hire people who give the stores a bad reputation.

worked here for not even a full month and management is very horrible, they have favoritism, most employees i worked with act so superior than the newer employees and don’t even communicate, the manager brian has an attitude problem and makes his part-time workers work more than the hours they should be working, and they’re racist. i asked brian to change my schedule and he declined it bc he said it wasn’t his problem about my availability but i had told the other manager sherri i go to church certain days and he still did not budge. all of the managers put on a fake personality once you start working you can see hypocrisy. also the training and orientation is the worst they’re so unprepared and disorganized because they don’t care about new employers. the customers are rude as well and overall i just felt anxiety every time i would go into work which is not supposed to happen. don’t work here ever even if it’s your first job too this place is absolutely horrible and the people who work there need to be humbled. they make this place to be a good image when it’s the complete opposite and they violate so many rules for employees. and the reason they’re so low on employees is because all the people who have gotten hired and did training left after because they’re too harsh.

I worked here for less than a year. Though I cannot speak personally for the behaviors of the workers as i no longer work there, I do request anyone reading- clean after yourselves. Shoes, clothing, dresses, anything. Be responsible of yourself and your family, and to anyone saying "it's your job to clean up after us, why should I do your job?", I say this- Bro. If I were to walk into your house for a party and tripped on your Jordan's or your fancy plates and said "sorry, I'm just a guest :3", what would you do?
I have seen clothes scattered all over the floors and fitting rooms. Whatever you bring in the fitting rooms, you must bring out on their hangers. If you're browsing for clothes, please put them back on the racks on their hangers. Don't leave them on the floor or on top of the clothing racks. Please keep an eye on your children in the toys section. Don't leave clothes in the fitting room- if they don't fit, bring them back outside and give it to the Attendant or return it to where it came from.
Make it easier for yourself to browse around the store and your fellow workers to work. Thanks.

Just left this store Saturday 5/25 at 2:08pm the line was out the door, cashiers could not get a hold of the manager at all to help them with the cash registers, I watched them call for her through the phone and walkie talkie 30 mins later she comes out and once she finally arrived Cherry or Sherry however her name is spelled came in with an attitude proceeded to state she is the manager and that was she was covering her lunch I asked her if she can unlock a bag for me so that I can buy it since I and another customer had been waiting for 30+ minutes for the manager to come because she is the only one with the keys she proceeded to give me an attitude and say “now I’m gonna take longer to do it” I then proceeded to ask her for her name and she refused to give it to me, needless to say I left without the bag. Terrible management if this is who they choose to manage the store I don’t know how it remains open. Not surprised with all the bad reviews on her idk how she is still the manager. This says a lot about who Ross picks to lead

Customer service is ZERO! Everyone in there has an attitude. They lock the doors and stop letting people in an hour before closing time. Terrible experience. Don’t bother coming here.

Manager white lady in this Ross is so rude got there at 9:05 she told me they were closing in 10 minutes I asked and told her your app says 11 she said well that it’s wrong and they were closing. She is always yelling when people are coming in and talking in between her teeth.
So rude the young cashier seemed new she was very nice tho but that manager is so rude.

The manager at this location CHEATS customers out of their shopping experience by closing the store early. The Ross website states this location is to stay open until 11 pm Monday - Saturday. The manager had the nerve to say they're allowed to close the store early to WAX the floors!!! It's not only FALSE advertisement of operating hours but complete BS. When I come to this location, she ALWAYS tries to close the store 2 hours early and when no one listens to her she walks around talking under her breathe about the customers not leaving. Upper management has no clue this is going on. If you have to come to the Manassas location, just look out for a loud, short, heavy set white lady with messy salt and pepper hair that's always tied back. You can't miss her.

I went in to pick up something very quickly. In that short time I managed to trip over a roll of carpet blocking the aisle, right by the registers, that two working staff members looked at, and SAW, but failed to remove themselves. Even after I tripped, no one displayed the least bit of concern. It was the same disinterest that I found displayed throughout the store. Items placed on the racks and a haphazard manner with a little order. Two stars only because there are some great buys to be had here, but you really have to want them to venture into the store.
